Dead Times/TRTRKMMR - Split LP ( Aum War: Aum005)
Split LP from Dead Times and TRTRKMMR, with the first Dead Times track containing vocals from Sewer Goddess, which sold me immediately. Contains all new material from both entities, including two collaborative tracks - each initialized by one and finalized by the other. Discretedocuments though they are, the two sides of this split align in their austere intent, rarity and severity of harsh industrial sound. Dead Times sound is draped in blankets of sonic decay and detritus. Not continuous deterioration, but rather a dispersion of discreet variables. Thousands upon thousands of quarter-inch steel cubes, poured into flows…stacked into monoliths…strung onto threads…scattered into nonsensical disarray. Feedback and transmogrifying synths add shape and texture to the digital coalescences and fragmentations, while retched vocals provide the motives (both ulterior and express). Curious melodies surface and recede.
Eschewing paltry public fixations of extreme music, TRTRKMMR personifies its antithesis - the discipline of meticulous, private labor. Splicing, adjusting, trimming, scrapping, reworking. The entirely analog recording, cut-up loops, samples and feedback all place TRTRKMMR within the continuum of abstract electronic noise, but here it is refigured within convulsive rhythms structured by the playback of disfigured LPs and further punctured by guitar and utterly caustic humanoid vocals. The document shudders with violence and terror, interwoven with passages of organo-mechanical pulsations, flutters and colored static, torn throughout by eviscerating feedback. Lmtd 500 copies.. $11.00

Der Blutharsch - Flying High! 2LP ( WKN: WKN34LP)
Flying High!” with this psychedelic combat cry, one of the most eccentric and innovative projects from Austria returns. On their ninth studio album, Der Blutharsch continues travelling in the direction they took back in 2005, when the former guru of martial industrial/military pop, Albin Julius, and his band, rocketed towards the deep space of psychedelia. One of the most controversial bands of the last decade staked its claim anew, totally breaking with old images, clichés and tunes. Having already started on the last album “The Philosopher’s Stone,” the walls of guitars and repetitive chants are recognizable. Flying High! transforms this into a programmatic climax. If you start thinking Sunn O))), Guru Guru, Amon Dül, Tangerine Dream or Godspeed You! Black Emperor you are not to far away, but most of the apocalyptic feeling which you are already used to is still inherent. Highly influenced by the American west coast sound of the late sixties with small doses of that which some people used to call Krautrock. The tracks develop into each other, ambient parts followed by ecstatic deathrock songs and then they glide into a wall of sound. The guest parts on the vocal side are full of well known artists: besides Bain Wolfkind and Albin Julius or Gianni Serusi, you discover 1980s legend Patrick Leagas who celebrates the title song in his typical distinctive manner. Flying High! is a dark record, it mixes eros and deathwish, productivity with destructivity. Since the release of “When Did Wonderland End?,” Der Blutharsch have mutated into a psychedelic rock monster; their motto, “into new territories!;” their symbol for this mutation, a battle fought not by marching but by flying, “Flying High!” Flying High! is a weird trip for blown minds through the dark worlds of today’s society, passing love, hate and lust during its journey into the center of the sun! This double LP is housed in a deluxe gatefold cover and strictly limited to 750 copies.. $38.00

Deutsch Nepal - Rapist Park Junktion 2x7inch (Black Vinyl) ( Autarkeia: AutV009)
Perhaps the most charismatic figure of the industrial scene - Lina Baby Doll - has recorded a new 25 minute material for his cult project Deutsch Nepal. Many people call this extraordinary artist the Robbie Williams of the industrial scene. Yet, after listening to this latest record , many will undoubtedly call him the Frank Sinatra of the scene. The atmosphere of the new Deutsch Nepal tracks is somewhat reminiscent of the American genius’ old hits pervaded by deep longing and specific black humor. However Rapist Park Junktion is far from the return to the depressive epoch of Erosion. The new tracks contain the features of all periods of Deutsch Nepal music; the ritual aspects of Deflagration of Hell and Benevolence, the rhythms of Tolerance and nightmares of Comprendido… time stop, as well as the mournfulness of Erosion coupled with wild sexuality of Erotikon. Lina says Rapist Park Junktion is a bridge between his earlier music and that what is coming soon. To be more precise, this is a connecting-link to the mysterious Amygdala. So, Rapist Park Junktion is the same old and charismatic Lina Baby Doll now playing the role of Frank Sinatra instead of Nick or Robbie Williams, and the gloomy atmosphere of drinking-songs glowing in the background of horrible audio hallucinations. 2 heavy weight 7 inches in textured, fold out jacket. Black vinyl version. $10.00

Dogpop - (PopGod) ( Zaetrom: Zae02)
Knowing their penchant for creating old school sounds, this collaborative project between powerhouses Anenzephalia and Thorofon (with friends) should come as no real surprise, per se. It is certainly a lighter affair than you might expect, but very pleasurable all the same. After one performance these people gathered together to collect their material recorded during the previous few years. The result is a release which flows between minimal, cold electronic classics with a distinctive german voice to hallucinatory, surreal atmospheres with a touch of antipop /dog pop. Imagine November Novelet with a tiny bit of SPK, mixed with some obscure early 80s keyboard group and maybe, just maybe you get a rough idea of where this is coming from. A criticism of the ultimate consumption and perfection, mixed with cutup technology this record won’t help you enjoy your daily world and living. Its just 71 % perfect, which is just enough!. $12.00
