Apoptose/Joy of Life - Warrior Creed 12 inch LP (Tesco: Tesco072)
It was in 1988 when the British post punk group Joy of Life released their song "Warrior Creed". Apoptose would never forget this track: the impressive vocals, the stoic drums, the minimalistic keyboards. 20 years later "Warrior Creed" is back – seen though Apoptose’s eyes. The voice of Joy of Life leadsinger Gary Carey has matured and the rhythm section is reinforced by an entire band of drummers, the Fanfarenzug Leipzig. Now the music sounds even darker. This Joy of Life/Apoptose-LP celebrates the return of that classic song. It features two new interpretations by Apoptose, both sung by Gary Carey, alongside the original Joy of Life version which was unavailable for more than a decade. Live-in-studio recordings of the onstage trance drumming rituals by Apoptose and the Fanfarenzug Leipzig amplify the intoxicating effect of this vinyl-only release. Total Time 37:07min. The LP is limited to 600 copies and packed in a deluxe gatefold sleeve with metalic bronze embossing.. $15.00

Sewer Goddess - Verdigris 7inch (Baseborn: BBR729)
The bodies of two teenage girls were discovered on Sunday, July 29, 1973 on a dirt road near Coquille, OR.Both were nude and each girl shot once in the chest. The weapon used in the killings was a .22 cal rifle. The teenagers had been on a hiking and camping trip in LaVerne Park when the two met Roger Lynn Green who would later kill the two girls without provocation in a sudden and spontaneous act of violence."Verdigris" is released on the 37th anniversary of the murders as a commemoration of sorts. The focus of this record is on the two victims Kathleen Marie Bechtel & Vicki Louise Fawcett.First pressing limited to 73 numbered copies silver ink hand screened on black wallet jackets w/ two inserts. Musically, this is incredibly strong material, and on par with among the best (and certainly the darkest) SG has produced. Two tracks of some very creepy, and spine chilling atmospheres, full of unsettling and nauseating sound manipulations. A must, though VERY lmtd stock, so best to reserve before ordering lest you risk getting backordered (and this one ain't coming back once it's gone).. $12.00

Thorofon - Final Movement LP (UMB: UMB)
Music for riots! Violent, anti-establishment 'punk-noise' with hyper aggressive vocal proclamations over top lurching loops, samples, and pulsing heavy electronics. Nice and in your face, so strap on those boots and hit the streets motherfuckers! Blood curdling old school tactics recalling the finer moments of early SPK and Gristle (Hamburger Lady came to mind more than once), with stark but unsettling analog electronics and sickening, droning atmospheres with beats. Disturbingly good music for fans of recent IRM and Haus Arafna output (and of course the school bastards). A real milestone and a must for heavy electronic fans. In foldout gatefold sleeve.. $24.00
