Caithness - Apostasy & The Sorrowful Child
(Kaosthetik: KSTK007)
 |
4th release from Caithness, but the first I've encountered, which make it rather surprising given the quality of the work. Very reminscent of early Raison d'Etre - introspective ambient soundscapes with sorrowful melodies, monastic chants, acoustic enrichments, and haunted atmospheres, all drenched in the requisite reverb. To discover.. $13.00
|
Camanecroszcope - Echoes ov Who Lieth Dead But Ever Dreameth
(Spectre: Spectres14)
Collaborative effort between Iszoloscope and Ah Cama Sotz, surprisingly enough with not a beat to speak of. Instead, this is purely ritualistic and atmospheric
.a dark and lightless soundtrack to an imaginary vampire film. Elongated vocal chants and ghostly invocations drift on a bed of sounds capes ranging from the solemn and brooding to ethereal and outright spooky. The Cd reveals a masterly example of sound research and sound manipulation in a coherent and convincing conceptual whole. Re-issue in regular jewel box.. $15.66
Cataclyst - Monuments of a Rubicund Age
(Tantric Harmonies: TantraX31)
Abandoned side project of Peter Andersson of Raison d'Etre with Johanna Rosenqvist (Institut) on voices. Definitely has some Raison elements -dark, melancholic, introspective, a touch gothic...but Cataclyst seems more stripped down and basic -
less warm, less encompassing, certainly more rhythmic and more straight up industrial sounds. Not a real focused project (it's almost as if Peter weren't sure what to do with it as a side project), but that being said, it's still quality work
how can it not be with his name attached to it?. Reissue of the limited (to 100 copies!) CDR + bonus track. Remastered.. $7.99
Caul - The Hidden
(Eibon: Cau30)
 |
A welcome return to Crucible era Caul...one 60 minute peice of immensely haunting atmospheres. Very little, if any, structural elements, just slowly evolving soundsscapes full of suspenseful tones, cinematic textures, and bleak ambience. Elements of melancholy beauty arise, but are quickly swallowed by uprisings of darkness. A must for fans of Raison d'Etre, Graeme Revell, and of course, early Caul.. $13.00
|

 |
Two artists return to the Malignant roster, having teamed up to create over 60 minutes of dark ambient solitude. Changes - Lament
(Hau Ruck!: HR!94)
 |
From Changes' inception, R. N. Taylor and Nicholas Tesluk have woven bardic tales of gallantry, chivalry and of larger-than-life legendary and mythical heroes. They've sung of new love, love unrequited and love lost. They've written songs painting sonic imagery foretelling a dark apocalyptic future, which later came to pass while currently prophesying a society in the seminal stages of an even darker fate. With their new album, Lament, they turn their gaze inward, to their own personal apocalypses, stemming from their long marriages ending in dismal dissolution. They tell of their dark, oppressive inner-world that sought to drive them beyond the brink of despair. Only by being able to immerse themselves in their art and create works expressing these sorrows would they be able to maintain their sanity. Lament reaches out to all who've had their lives disrupted by modern societal partners going through mid-life crises, becoming antagonistic strangers to their families overnight. The song entitled "The Invisible Man" tells a tale based on H. G. Wells' novel with a personal twist. In their song "Emily", the historical figure of poetess Emily Dickinson comes to life. The "Mountains of Sorrow (Remix)", is an instrumental song enhanced by the deft arrangement, musicians and singers of Der Blutharsch with a voice-over by R. N. Taylor of his heart-rending lyric poetry. Also included, new versions of three of Changes' earlier works; "The Saddest Thing", "Sweet Eve" and "Memorabilia" as these songs merged well with the album's concept. Lament is sixty-four minutes in length with thirteen tracks. Comes in nice Digipak with a sixteen page liner booklet. $17.00

Changes - Legends
(Taproot: TPRT01)
 |
Robert N. Taylor and Changes need no introduction and this, the groups follow-up to their 1970s musical time-warp "Fire of Life," is stunning. Many of you will recall that the first CD contained a remarkable Eddic ballad entitled "The Stranger In the Mirror," which in reality was only a mere one-sixth of the entire composition. Since then, of course, Changes have returned to the studio after more than two decades and added the outstanding five sections to their enduring Legends masterpiece. Coupled with the Vikingesque tales of Thor and Odin, these additional excursions into the realms of superhuman heroics and ancient derring-do concern the brave deeds of notable characters such as Galahad, El Cid, Ulysses, Lancelot, Aeneas, Prince Igor, Arthur and Merlin; as well as a whole host of romantic beauties (both earthly and godlike) such as Venus, Penelope, Guinevere, Elvira and Sol. Against these heroes and heroines stand the vanquished enemies of Europa, aristocratic weaklings, and victims of trickery and cunning. Relying on the engineering skills of Robert Ferbrache, Tesluks 12-string guitar strums and picks its way amid Taylors smooth vocals and fine delivery. As the beautifully calligraphed lyrics in the CD booklet reveal, one of the most striking things about the Legends ode is the structure itself. The various historical epochs represent a continuous whole but are here suitably broken into six musical areas. Oswald Spengler would have been proud that his - indeed, our - lost heritage has at last found a voice.. $8.00

Circus Joy - Laetitia
(Old Europa Café: OECD124)
 |
Italian cult band in which play 2 former members of AIN SOPH as well as other well known musicians of the Roman underground. At the time of the last release by Circus Joy “Improvvisa Azione Paganini", noise was turned into pleasure and sex; in their new work, "Laetitia", there is no pleasure in noise without sorrow , and sorrow takes over...this CD is not only a sonic tribute to Pop-Art, as its cover clearly shows, or to the noise-psychedelic rock of Velvet Underground (one of the most influential bands for Circus Joy): it's a tribute to the recent and tragic departure of their friend and poet/singer, Letizia."Laetitia" displays the two faces of Circus Joy: sensual, sick love ballads on one side and the crazy, electric, rides on the other. The record has been recorded between 2008 and 2009 at "Spectrelab" and "Trafalgar Studio Roma" , except for the last track "An Eccentric Garden" which has been realised putting together the single parts each of members did on their own, at their own place, then sending them via the internet to the others...Circus Joy is a group of non-musicians, long time friends who come together to produce noise by experimenting and improvising with their instruments. Formed in 1984 by Corrado Mancini, the line-up tends to change from release to release, for this album the line-up was completed by Spectre, Mario F.O.B., ClauDEDI and Steve StrolI.A crazy post-industrial release.. $5.00

Clew of Theseus - Meridian
(Cathartic Process: CP11)
 |
This album shows a projection and further maturity in Clew Of Theseus' sound. Meridian is a dark and esoteric album, very focused, full of sounds at once harsh and ambient, with forceful drones and rich textures. Sounds were created with acoustic winds, electric guitar, analog and junk synthesizers and gritty electronics, mixed to create a foreboding atmosphere. The album was mastered by Timothy Stollenwerk at Stereophonic Mastering, best known for his work on dozens of Daniel Menche albums. Meridian was recorded in two weeks during the monsoon season of 2008. A careful study into the symbols inside the album show an obsession with elemental force and eternal power. Clew Of Theseus evokes images of furious storms, wiping the landscape of blight, bringing beautiful darkness in its wake. CD packaged in standard jewel case with full-color artwork.. $12.50

Cloama - Revisionist Knowledge
(Freak Animal: FreakCD028)
 |
Return of the more cruel and vicious side of Cloama, the side project of Strom.ec. Two sides represented here
the first 4 tracks are live-without-audience recordings recorded with amplifiers and couple of good microphones. Painful and straight forward power electronics with vocals in line with what you've come to expect from Strom.ec, though maybe even harsher and more raw. 2nd part of disc is studio recordings
a solid, swarming mass of rough edged atmospheres, drones, and shuddering frequencies. Lots of layers here and overall, a very unique sound. Very stylish designed artwork in cardboardbox cover with 4 insertcard full of nice graphics and texts. Freak Animal. $15.33

Cold Fusion - Occupatria
(War Office Propaganda: CF001)
 |
The latest CD from this this Polish project, who seem to get better with each release. Excellent symphonic martial music

(War Office Propaganda: WOP30)
A moving musical vision of the tragic and romantic history of the brave crew of this Polish submarine. Some fragments of this story were published on Scontrum act III, Orp Orzel presents the entire story within its 45 minute time frame. Impressive, dark, melancholy industrial full of cavernous, ominous tones and flowing cinematic textures. Cold Fusion - Simmetria
(War Office Propaganda: WOP37)
The fifth CD and another triumphant release for Polands Cold Fusion. Rousing, dynamic orchestral atmospheres full of tense strings, muscular brass arrangements and dominant, martial percussion. 11 strong tracks, presented in nice digipak. Cold Fusion may be fairly prolific, but the quality has seemed to get better and better. Recommended.. $14.50
Cold Fusion and Rukkanor - Silk Road
(Rage in Eden: Rage62)
 |
It states in the press release that this is a split CD, but it looks more like a collaborative release to me. No matter. The Silk Road is a series of trade and cultural transmission routes connecting the East and West by linking traders, merchants, pilgrims, monks, soldiers, nomads and urban dwellers from China to the Mediterranean Sea during various periods of history. Many artistic influences transited along th e Silk Road, especially through CentralAsia, where Hellenistic, Iranian, Indian and Chinese influence were able to intermix. As such, "Silk Road' takes this confluence of cultures and brings them together in a rich tapestry of sound, as warm and flowing classical arrangments meld with more exotic, Middle Eastern and Asian instrumentation. 9 tracks, 43 minutes, CD in digipack. Limited edition of 500 handnumbered copies.. $5.00
|

 |
Re-issue of this sought after release, in commemoration of the 5th anniversary of War Office Propaganda / Rage In Eden. Dedicated to all civilian victims of the infamous V-1 and V-2 'flying bomb' attacks, this CD is suitably filled with emotive neo-classical sounds, ranging from solemn and melodic arrangments, to more bombastic and stirring rochestrations in the classic tradition of these two acts.Contains two unpublished bonus tracks, both from the "Wunderwaffe" session, and original, conceptual artwork made by Michal Karcz. Total time 42 minutes, 8 tracks in digipack. Limited to 500 copies.. $14.00

Collapsar - Beyond the Event Horizon
(Malignant: TumorCD38)
 |
Malignant presents another rising star within the dark ambient scene, this time in the form of French act Collapsar. With their debut CD, “Beyond The Event Horizon” Collapsar transports the listener on an epic journey deep into the cosmos, forging a path across a vast, inky void, and steering a course around a roiling galactic core of hyper-dense stars and black holes. The sound is epic, expansive, and most of all, HEAVY. There is beauty and tranquility within these realms, but there is no light – just massive, pulsating textures coalescing into shimmering drones, rippling sound waves, and billowing, multi-dimensional layers of powerful dark energy. “Beyond the Event Horizon” is without question, dark ambient in its purest form and one of the more genre defining releases of the last several years. A must for fans of Inade, Lustmord and the like. In 6 panel digipak, with design by ::: Eye.Lyft ::: As of September 23rd, 2009 also available on iTunes.. $11.50

Combative Alignment - ...and Outside Glows the Red Dawn
(Malignant: TumorCD24)
 |
Those that peruse the Malignant catalog on a regular basis, should have no trouble recognizing Combative Alignment, for theyve been a highly touted fixture since their first release, the Everlasting Sun 10 on their own label, Avatar. After several releases, including an LP on LOKI, and a 7 on Eternal Soul, it is with great honor and pride that we present And Outside Glows the Red Dawn, the first full length CD from this powerful and visionary German project. And Outside Glows the Red Dawn can perhaps be seen as Combative Alignments benchmark recording, offering 6 tracks that work as a virtual musical thoroughfare to a more dreamlike, illusory state. Deeply brooding atmospheres, where omniscient layers of drones and reverberating sound currents meet measured, ritual percussion as performed under the glowing, gloomy haze of a primordial sunrise. And Outside Glows the Red Dawn shines a dim light on a world of obscure origin, full of dark Germanic mysticism and unearthly sonic terrain. On a whole, this is a more focused, deeper, and fluid recording than youve heard before, yet triumphantly carrying on the tradition laid down by previous releases. In stylish digipak, lmtd 1000 copies. $8.00

Con-Dom - Free Speech Series 3inch CD
(L-White: LW027/9)
Part 9, and the final installment of the Free Speech Series. Been awhile since weve had some output from Con-Dom, and its very welcome. Atmospheric by Con-Dom standards, but still fuckin hard as always
coarse, raw, and tension filled heavy electronics, based on loops and and super intense, burrowing frequencies. Absolutely devastating at high volume. Goddamn, I wish Mike would release stuff more often
this is just a teaser. Features Anti-Child League. Presented in a glass clip frame and is limited to just 350 copies! When all 9 CDs are laid out together, they make one complete picture/poster. $13.75
Con-Dom - The Eighth Pillar - A Confession of Faith
(Tesco: Functional016)
 |
The Eight Pillar was the first full-length Con-Dom release dating back to the year 1991, and was the second vinyl release after the Tesco 7" "Oh ye of little faith." This release had an accompanying booklet ordered separately which is now included in the artwork of the CD release. The CD is inspired by the life, writings and example of British author and "man of action" T.E. Lawrence - an enigmatic outsider who lived a tortured odyssey of physical and spiritual extremes in search of his own personal faith. The name of the CD derives from his book called "The Seven Pillars of Wisdom." With these recordings, Mike Dando, the man behind Con-Dom, set high standards in a genre that was just starting to arise. Via walls of lo-fi, raw power electronics and a commanding voice presence, Con-Dom give a good impression on how torturing the life of Lawrence must have been. Con-Dom explores every kind of social tension and control: political, religious, racial...with an acidic, violent and uncompromising attitude. He is well-known in the industrial scene for his furious ravaging vocals and the devastating, high intensity live performances. Those who missed the LP version (limited to 300 copies back in 1991) must see this record as a milestone or just a simple must! Outstanding.. $15.33

Con-Dom/Militia - Scorched Earth Policy CD
(Old Europa Café: OECD047)
 |
A nice move on the part of Old Europa Café to re-issue this long out of print cassette from many years ago. Now completely re-mastered by Frank Gorissen of Militia, this comes roaring from the speakers in all its glory. Six tracks of full throttle brutality from Con-Dom to start things up, unleashing the typical fury associated with his work; rough discordant noise, squelching feedback, and writhing heavy electronics with processed vocals. Includes the Euro smash Power is Nothing Without Control, plus Utterly Devoid of Faith, All is Fair in Love and War, Buchers Call to Arms and more. The Militia material is representative of earlier work, as found on the New European Order 3 LP
less percussion based (though still prevalent)_ and more atmospheric, pulsating with the raw machine energy theyre known for. Industrial music the way it was meant to be. Includes 2 live, previously unreleased tracks from their very first gig.. $14.33

Contagious Orgasm - Confession of Mannequin
(Industrial Recollections: IR-C02)
 |
Highly worshipped earliest material of the cult industrial-experimental band from Japan. This 2nd tape from 1988 (mistakenly stated 1989 in cd cover) shows a different side of what CO is known to be today. You see why they established deals with many leading European industrial/pe labels (Tesco, Ant-Zen, Praxis Dr. Bearmann,..) in the early 90's. An intersection of highly collaged experimental, surreal, and warped sounds; rhythmic noise, tool box clutter, grimy industrial, cinematic fibres, deranged voices, and a multitude of other sonic oddities.45 minutes presented with original sound from metal master tapes without any modern day boosting gimmicks. Great dynamics and amazing quality. Covers include full re-print of all original tape artwork as it was. Industrial Recollections. $14.95
|
Contagious Orgasm - Invasion
(SSSM: SSSM11)
 |
First new full-length release from Japanese sound virtuoso Contagious Orgasm (aka Hiroshi Hashimoto) in 3 years! Masterfully assembled collages of processed field recordings & electro-acoustic sound, that range from rhythmic industrial (NOT of the techno variety!), to noisy ambient and all parts in between. As with all of CO's releases, this is an adventurous and highly hypnotic listen, with tons of layers, styles, and complexity, with things rarely staying in place for long. Presented in a sealed card sleeve.. $13.50
|
Contagious Orgasm - Thin Skinned
(Industrial Recollections: IR-CO3)
 |
I didn't have the original of this tape from 1989, but it's definitely fascinating to hear how CO evolved into what it is today. In general, like the other two recent CD re-issues, this is a dirtier, true industrial sound - still built around loops and collages, but not at all polished, with lots of whirrings, clangs, experimental sounds, and junk metal noises. 2 long tracks, in total c. 45 minutes. Those who heard the previous two tapes re-issued, can´t go wrong with this one!. $14.33
|
Contagious Orgasm + Kotodama - Blackout
(SSSM: SSSM109)
 |
Collaborative work between these two well regarded Japanese musicians. A full spectrum of sounds ranging from deep electro-rhythms, to dark drone based ambient, to noise to dreamy and atmospheric soundtracks. Presented in a sealed card sleeve.. $13.33
|
Contemplatron - Delog
(Wrotycz: WRT007)
 |
Second release from this Polish dark ambient act. The DELOG experience is extraordinary, even within the esoteric context of Tibetan Buddhism. The Tibetan word DELOG refers to one who has crossed the threshold of death and returned to tell about it. The person who is recognised as DELOG lays without any sign of breath, pulse or body warmth for many days. During that his or her mind journeys to other realms of experience: the pure display of enlightened mind as well as existence within samsaric delusion and ignorance. Fittingly, the 8 tracks here move between darkness and light, drifting into slightly trippy, dream like areas with etheral drones, ritual nuances, and spacey atmospherics. Mastered by Peter Andersson (Raison D'Etre).. $12.66
|
Contrastate - A Live Coal Under the Ashes
(Tesco: Tesco010)
 |
1992 saw the release of A Live Coal Under the Ashes which was inspired by the events leading up to the changes across Eastern and Central Europe during 1989. This release marked the change conceptually in which the groups ideas became more specific and more focused on contemporary political issues. A Live Coal
was critically acclaimed not just for the music, but also for the artwork and packaging: - a CD placed in the middle of a 12inch clear vinyl record. After many years of unavailabity Tesco can finally present a rerelease with remastered tracks and a new yet unreleased track called: Death follows the one eyed cow. An album full of ambient atmospheres, drones, percussion, suitable dark narrations and some steady muted rhythms. These are intense, highly charged recordings with a powerful mystic and ritual feeling. Not quite the masterwork 'Throwing Out the Baby...' was, but certainly captures the brilliance that was Contrastate.. $9.00
|
Control - Misanthrope
(L-White: LW014)
3rd Control CD that continues to see a positive evolution in sound. Strong, shuddering currents of thick electronics, with a crushing underbelly of boiling, frying, layered frequencies, the vocals streaming forth in a sickeningly wet fashion. Much more structure going on here than the past, but twice the unbridled power. Excellent.. $13.66
Control - Natural Selection
(Eibon: Con044)
 |
Another massive attack courtesy of our tattooed amigo Thomas Garrison. Ultra powerful, ultra corrosive and ultra thick…gushing forth currents of shuddering electronics and bulldozing frequencies. Goddamn this boy is getting good.. $13.00
|
Control - The Means to an End
(Eibon: Con055)
 |
Another solid effort from Control, offering up 9 tracks of scorching, multi-layered, ultra gritty power electronics. Lots of grinding machine noises amidst the thick, hulking frequencies, all equipped with that textbook sinister edge that dominates the Control sound. As always, tortured vocals rip through the mix. I know I say this with every Control CD, but he really does seem to get better with each release.. $13.66
|
Conure - Stream
(Edgetone: EDT4082)
 |
With his new work, Mark Wilson a.k.a. Conure took a different approach running throughout the five tracks of "Stream". His creation is rawer than previous works while still retaining the compositional strengths of "The Generation of Our Grandfathers" and "49 Minutes (Until Release)" (Crunch Pod). The music, constructed primarily from field recordings and other mic'ed sound processed through effects pedals, is probably the closest that Conure has come to reproducing the sound of his live performances in the studio environment. "Chaos reigns and nothing is stable. So many diverse elements compete with each other for supremacy that it hurts; really hurts. This is noise that only real noise enthusiasts can appreciate. No placid dark ambient stuff here. Violent, brutal and intense. Like durian fruit, a strong cigar, or a raw habanero pepper, you really have to have the taste for this kind of stuff to appreciate it fully. For me, its a mood thing, but I know good ambient noise from bad ambient noise, and this is some of the best Ive heard in a long time." Chain D.L.K.. $9.00
|
Conure - The Generation of Our Grandfathers
(Edgetone: EDT4058)
 |
"Conure is the work of one man, Mark Wilson of 15 Degrees Below Zero fame and this disc which is entitled The Generation of our Grandfathers was inspired by a documentary film portraying the Nazi persecution of homosexuals as outlined in Paragraph 175 of the German Penal Code of 1871. Wilson was so moved by the film that he decided to create his own audio sound collage not only to raise awareness to some degree but primarily to summarize the general feelings and mood of the film itself. Shifting (not always ambient) drones, mixed with ghostly voices, staticy flucuations, and interludes of more agitated noise. Nicely conceived and though provoking.. $7.99
|
Converter - Expansion Pack 2.0 2CD
(Ant-Zen: Act193)
There is a theory that track 2 on a cd is the cd's "hit". On this 2cdpackage, track 2 is 'domination' - enough said. Two years after the first'Expansion' came out, we present the second strike. This expansion containsunreleased material, live tracks and remixes by industrial icons like Sonarand ambient masters like Architect and Displacer. Scott Sturgis' musicalvariety is amazing, ranging from heavily distorted industrial beat attacksto dark ambient soundscapes. 'Expansion 2.0' tracks range from the 'ShockFront' to 'Exit Ritual' period - which perfectly documents Sturgis'improvement. instead of repeating a successful concept over and over again,Scott experimented with new influences and various styles. A highly recommended addition to your Converter collection.. $16.99
Coph Nia - Holy War CDEP
(Cold Meat Industry: CMI93)
Rousing percussion and dramatic orchestrations with passionate vocal proclomations on the first two tracks, more lushly scored, and sweeping with filmic textures on the third and final track. The last 5 or 6 minutes are superb sinister, bleak, and immensely powerful. An excellent follow-up tot he debut CD and a nice companion to it.. $6.00
Coph Nia - Qliphothic Phantasmagoria CDEP
(Wrotycz: WRT008)
 |
It's hardly news to any connoisseur of Industrial music that Coph Nia like to cover songs. So far they have quite a cover track record. They've transformed The Leather Nun's punk anthem Prime Mover into a brooding, industrial soundscape, and made songs by artists as diverse as Front 242, Bauhaus, Arthur Brown and The Rolling Stones their own.One danger of covering songs is that you might end up as a covers band. This is especially dangerous if you cover songs by, say, The Rolling Stones, as you might just end up on the rock cover band circuit playing 'Sweet Home Alabama' in dodgy rock pubs and biker meets in places God has been drinking to forget ever since he created them.On the other end of the scale, but equally degrading, is to end up as wedding singers. Remember that really unfunny Adam Sandler movie? If you think that Coph Nia has too much class to end up en either category, well, lets say you have too much faith in the band. Coph Nia are already a bit too familiar with playing gigs in dodgy pubs, and theyve even played at a wedding (well, it was a stag party, but it was definitely wedding-related).So in a desperate attempt to not end up having to provide the soundtrack to bikers picking up underage chicks or obscure uncles doing moves from Saturday Night Fever, Coph Nia have decided to take the demon by the horns, and tried to exorcise the Cover Demon before it consumes them. The result is this release. This collection of Coph Nia-fied covers including Ozzy Osbournes Mr Crowley, the song Mr. Aldenons band was born to cover, Black Sabbath by the band of the same name, Sick Things by Alice Cooper and Levitation by psychedelic space rockers Hawkwind.Hopefully, the exorcism will work. If not, you know where to look for Coph Nia in a few years. PS: If you need a band for your wedding, Coph Nia can be reached through their website.. $5.00

Coph Nia - Shape Shifter
(Cold Meat Industry: CMI122)
Re-stock! Shows further maturation and progression in sound. Well structured, profane atmospheres, mixing neo-classical with cinematic touches, while maintaing a strong CMI/Swedish feel and a very dark and oppresively bleak approach. Theres a sombre gothic edge here, and its heavy on the vocals (reminscent of an accented Peter Murphy to some degree), but its also very well produced and with a touch of majestic power. Includes cover tracks of Leather Nun and Bauhaus.. $14.35
Coph Nia - That Which Remains
(Cold Meat Industry: CMI85)
Re-stock! After operating in seclusion for five years, debutants Coph Nia display a sound firmly rooted in the introspective nord-ambient tradition, Think Lustmord meets Raison DEtre meet Spehiroth, all spiced up with moments of delicate polyphony that harken back to goth icons like Dead Can Dance. That Which Remains is the result of two years of hard labour, spanning topics ranging from death and darkness, to passion and reverence. Yet a main theme is discernable; the strong belief in the power of the will, both a sword and a shield in the aware individuals quest for illumination in a secular world about to collapse.. $13.99
Coph Nia - The Dark Illuminati
(Cold Meat Industry: CMI163)
 |
The Thelemic Warlord is back; and after years of silence and solitude Aldenon once again presents us with a true masterpiece - "The Dark Illuminati - A Celestial Tragedy in two acts". This is an epic saga of eight illuminating pieces trying to penetrate the core of the Darkest Light. Aldenon's characteristic growling coupled with Linus's bombastic drums and Karin's serene voice come together in a tapestry of ritualistic, penetrating and sinister ambiance. Included are three timeless classics in new and improved formats... Choirs, strings and intricate orchestrations bring about an unforgettable tale that won't leave any listener untouched; possibly giving rise to more questions, than it poses answers.. $14.50
|
Cracksteel - Look Homeward, Angel CDr
(Chi Omega Institute: Souvenir001)
 |
I guess this would sell better if I got it online, rather than stared at it for 3 months. At any rate, this is subtitled as"Cracksteel Chronicle 1994-2008 Vol. 2" and is basically a retrospective of tracks, oddly enough, from 1994-1996. Dirty, multi-layered noise, with a low frequency rumble on the bottom, and a steady stream of manipulated sounds and higher frequency chaos over top. $8.00
|
Crepuscular - Deep Slow Majesty CDr
(Black Drone: BDRL002)

New CD from a name a lot of you may recognize from the recently released Dark Ambient Radio Vol 2 CD. The disc title as well as the track titles are pretty revealing as to the actual sound creations; Descending Darkness, Deep Slow Majesty, Ethereal Shadow etc etc - resonant washes of pure dark ambience, cosmic drone, and deep atmospherics. Quality material.. $12.00

From the dark, noisey pits of Partille comes this rough double album from Crest. Second after the two year old crustburst " Kajaani, Sotkamo, Perkele!", on PAS-83 productions, this excellent album sees the day of light. Here you´ll find a package full of intense analogue powerstructures and noncompromising attitude that makes your industrial heart beat faster...Daniel Jansson (Deadwood, S.T.U.G. 218) appears on Crest 218 as well(!). Professionally made CDRs in double DVD box. Limited edition of 100 copies, hand-numbered.. $7.00
