Abjection Ritual - Soul of Ruin, Body of Filth CD (Malignant: TumorCD113)
With their second full length record for Malignant Records, Abjection Ritual emerge a far different beast, now fully untethered by genre constraints and conventions. Soul of Ruin, Body of Filth is a vast progression from past releases, incorporating guitars, bass and a live drummer into their arsenal, and in doing so have crafted a far more diverse, idiosyncratic vision, while retaining the atmospherics of heavy electronics and industrial ambience. Like a hybrid of Enemy of the Sun era Neurosis, early Swans, Godflesh, IRM and Khanate mixed with the caustic doom sludge of Halo and Indian, Soul of Ruin, Body of Filth is a crushingly visceral and eclectic journey that destroys preconceptions and leaves any true classifications in tatters. Featuring vocal contributions from Rennie Resmini (Starkweather) and Christopher Ropes. In 6 panel digipak with cover art by Jef Whitehead (Leviathan)
""... hideously dark and mechanical sludge-riffed death industrial..." Grizzly Butts
"the ugliest, darkest fringes of sludge infected by industrial power electronics and pure noise...a fearful album to lose yourself in" Ninehertz

Ager Sonus - Book of the Black Earth CD (Cryo Chamber: Cryo070)
The old leather bound book smells of crusted honey. Flecks of dust and dried parchment rain from it's interior as you open it. Ancient hieroglyphs and diagrams point the way to the obsidian gate.
A year later you walk through long forgotten caverns with lantern lit. You've finally found the underground lake. A tired face stares back at you from it's reflection. The air taste sweet down here and in the distance flutes echo of a buried civilization. The feeling of dread washes over you. This is your last chance to get her back from the underworld.
Dark bass drone rumbles in the caverns under long forgotten cities. Ager Sonus has succeeded in creating an Egyptian backdrop that is accentuated with flutes and atmospheric layering. Occult and ethereal, this album is for lovers of Necromancy and the unexplored ruins beneath the sands of Egypt.. $12.67

Am Not - The Developing World CD (Tesco: Tesco116)
Am Not 's new album is pure assault of industrial/power electronics, well designed and structured - a tour de force from start to end...his most varied work to days!
This starts with the idea of developing nations, and then moves on to explore the world itself as a project in development. From pickaninnies with grateful watermelon smiles, through to the rejuvenating power of capital investment and landscapes re-imagined by great visionaries both living and dead – the world is in flux and constant development. But in every pile of rubble and ruin can be found redemption through reconstruction. The abandoned are rescued from dereliction and embraced by a new purpose. The forgotten and marginalized will be brought into care and raised up to a bold new form. Within the chaos unleashed by the dismantling of tired old structures are laid the foundations of new harmonious societies. Obsolete archaic monstrosities are razed to the ground and in their place new monuments¬ are erected from glass and steel, ever higher, ever more inspired. But who will shape the outcomes of these great changes? What are the key drivers? Who are the key players and who will deliver a future that works for all and in which everyone has a purpose and everyone has a place?
And what of the individual? They exist now as they have always done at their own intersections between cultural, social, historical, economic and biological trajectories giving each their own unique place and function within the human system.
But as these trajectories are disrupted and diverted, the individual lives in a state of increasing precariousness and is taught that they are powerless to change or influence this. For you, the individual, it is essential to be a step ahead of the rest – who like you are vying for their niche. The wise will forecast these changes and be prepared to take full advantage of what may come. Every individual is a competitor, and so will seek to take what is yours, so no quarter should be given to those who share a common need – as resources are limited. Sell your shares, fortify your houses, invest in gold, stock pile fuel, choose your allegiances, change them as necessary, sharpen your blades, tear up your passport, seek asylum, hasten collapse, stay safe, take back control, seize opportunity and with your God willing, you will survive.. $13.99

Analfabetism - Skammen CD (Malignant: TumorCD99)
Fredrik Djurfeldt returns to Malignant with his second CD as Analfabetism. Tracing its legacy to the glory days of CMI, with stylistic nods to Megaptera and Archon Satani, Analfabetism create a particularly atmospheric style of death industrial, where damaged circuitry, crackling transmissions, and fatiguing metal clangs reverberate above gloomy synth bed ambience and soundscapes littered with rusted steel and broken glass. These are the sounds that speak of urban desolation, decaying factories and disenfranchisement, forged and crafted by a skilled tactician. In 6 panel digipak, designed by NTF Design.. $10.00

Anemone Tube - In the Vortex of Dionysian Reality CD (Blossoming Fern: Fern01)
Related to Nietzsche`s notion of the Wagnerian music drama as a revelation of the abysmal truth about man, “In the Vortex of Dionysian Reality” allures us into the Dionysian dreamland, where tragedy reigns, in pursuit of the ultimate oneness. With its washes of noise and layers of piercing feedback on a subbase of wavering synths, it is a maelstrom of sound generating a hallucinatory reality. The atmosphere oscillates between destructiveness and aggravating frenzy, between the archaic and the sacral, between frenzied passion and abyssal melancholy, serving the mythical experience of music in a world where language has failed as a method of communication and music figures as the primordial form of expression.
As he considers humanities to have reached their limit, young Nietzsche hopes to find ultimate spiritualization and idealization in the reborn myth. Music alone (“our German masters”), as the primeval form of poetry and revelation of true Dionysian wisdom, may achieve triumph over the Apollonian shallow world of apparition.
With his timely musical rendition of mythical experience as “In the Vortex of Dionysian Reality”, Anemone Tube conveys an emotionally and mentally charged album which reveals his soft spot for progressive post rock metal acts like Amusement Parks On Fire, Blut Aus Nord or O.L.D. Their special approach of dreamy melodies vs. atonal, discordant sounds is skillfully recreated through polyphonic synths lines, which are then modulated into feedback and added for good measure.
Carrying the same title as the 2015 cassette EP release on The Epicurean, this CD with its 40+ minutes total length and five all new, yet unreleased tracks is less a mere re-release, but rather a full stand-alone album, featuring Ukrainian dark ambient artist Monocube on one track, as well as including sounds by Russian avantgardists Post Scriptvm and sound processing by French sound artist Pacific 231.. $12.67

Anima Nostra - Atraments CD (Malignant: TumorCD107)

Initially the name of a collaborative CD between Henrik Nordvargr Björkk and Margaux Renaudin released on Cold Spring in 2016, the duo have now relabeled and solidified themselves under the Anima Nostra moniker, and in turn, broadly expanded their sonic palette, taking the more intimate ritual ambient aspects of the debut, and incorporating them as part of towering constructs that blur the line between death industrial, doom metal, and neo-classical. With it’s upward swells of foreboding brass, fearsome tribal percussion, and hammering, bass heavy dirge, “Atraments” is the unleashing of something truly monumental and cataclysmic, eclipsing nearly everything Nordvargr has ever been associated with in of scope and grandeur. Integral and prominent in the mix are heavily serrated and imperious vocals, employed to drag the listener inexorably into an inferno of apocalyptic proportions, while adding a more structured “song” element and trumpeting the arrival of an inevitable doom. “Atraments” stands firmly as a vision complete and the perfect soundtrack for times of great tumult.
Completed with artwork by Thomas Ekelund (Trepaneringsritualen) and Portugese occult calligrapher Gordoletters, in 6 panel, heavy stock digipak with spot varnish finish and 8 page booklet.
"Absolutely spectacular" Archaic Triad
"A fantastic ritualistic album that spans multiple darkened genres" Brutal Resonance

Arktau Eos - Catacomb Resonator CD (Aural Hypnox: AH18)
Every man is a catacomb resonator; our very being resounds with hidden desires, dreams of unknown origin, and deeper still, primordial voices of our buried ancestry. We are a labyrinth unto ourselves; and equally we stand as a totem-pole at the crossroads of a universe, gazing into distant horizons. We are a nameless grave from which the self divine may rise to witness new constellations light up on the darkening firmament.
It is this process which the sixth Arktau Eos album attempts to convey: led by abyssal psalmody, the sonic tapestry is interwoven with dusty, crackling electronics of a bygone era and other, subtler elements for an all-enveloping sound that readily lends itself to prolonged listening sessions. Between the two segments, the sides A and B, lies the secret canticle: heard by few, yet ever present. While the vinyl edition is in some ways the optimal medium for the album at hand, the CD has the advantage of being mixed as a seamless whole. Choose as ye will!
The CD version of the album is enclosed in an oversized, screen printed cardboard covers. Limited to 423 copies.. $14.33

Arum Lilies - Dismal Fantasies CD (Death Continues: DCRCD012)
Arum Lilies is Mark Groves's (Australian artist) power-electronics solo project, and "Dismal Fantasies" is his debut album under this moniker. Recorded in the heat of Melbourne’s summer. Clammy evenings spent manipulating a dusty Tascam 424 MKII while drinking cheap white wine and beer in front of a fan that may be audible in quieter passages. An attempt to progress an earlier line, Arum Lilies takes processes and themes established when working on the Von Einem recordings, and repositions them. Source matter has been drawn from a wider geographic range, and the tone more intimate. Minimal yet cold and disturbing pieces with oscillating frequencies, natural ambience, and whispered vocals not only gives this a creepy, B movie kind of feel, but a real voyeuristic vibe.. $14.33

Atrium Carceri & Cities Last Broadcast - Black Corner Den CD (Cryo Chamber: Cryo075)
The two bearded Swedes join forces on this collaborative album. Black Corner Den is the result of long winter studio sessions separated by the atlantic ocean but made possible by the internet. Lonely moments in the company of the night lamp, overlooking the messy pile of tape loops while the machines hummed and the piano played until the morning.
Exploring the opium dens at the end of the 19th century this album takes you deep into the soothing dreams of dead poets.
"The streets lay silent as the floor creeks under your bare feet. The old loft lit by a wax candle, it's light dancing over your oak desk. You grab the vial of black ink and the leather bound book as you scurry out the door into the humid night. You pass trails of fire as the lamplighter tends to the myriad lanterns adorning the bridge. A left turn leads you down a set of stone stairs where the satin clad lounge welcomes you in.
Sweet smoke lingers in here where gentlemen gather to dream about the black sea. Your booth at the far end stands prepared. A pipe, tinderbox and purple pillow for a tired head. You have a friend tonight and it calls itself the Black Corner Den."
Pär Boström’s dreamlike soundscapes combines with the careful melodies and elegant structures of Simon Heath. The perfect soundtrack for decadent nights or introverted reading sessions, preferably combined.. $12.50

Atrox Pestis - Hewn By the Hands of the Damned CD (Chryptus: Chryptus1)
Full length CD debut from the dark ambient side project of Gnawed's Grant Richardson pretty much delivers everything you'd expect and want. More recent Gnawed work has hinted at Grant's growing interest in the genre, and he's certainly proven adept at creating bleak and harrowing soundscapes, all of which gets fleshed out over Hewn's four ultra lengthy tracks of lightless drift, distant scrape, and shifting textural darkness. Given Grant's track record, it should be no surprise how excellent this is, and it's a must for dark ambient purists.. $9.00

Baldruin - Biotische Verwitterung LP (Cloister Recordings: Crus23)
A disquieting record to accompany the nightmare of now. Baldruin documents this darkness, finding some hope in the helplessness. Barry Adamson+Panasonic+The Hafler Trio - The Hymn of the 7th Illusion LP (Cold Spring: CSR241LP)
Pan Sonic, arranged and edited by Barry Adamson (Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Magazine), with an additional re-arrangement by The Hafler Trio.
Here, Barry Adamson and Pan Sonic is performed by the Hljomeyki choir and Pan Sonic. "...a blend of an Icelandic choir performing Barry's (treated) microtonal, urgent score is slowly infiltrated, first with an electronic breath and then by well-rounded bass that evolves into a satisfactory crescendo before the scary humhum returns... highly successful" (Vital Weekly).
The Hafler Trio's wonderful extended reworking "weaves strong drones together before levelling them to start anew. At times it sounds eerily like the soundtrack to "the monolith" from Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey, but the intermittent digital crackles and processing bring the listener forcefully up to the present tense. If you are interested in abstract and experimental electronic music, the Hafler Trio deliver a solid remix".
35 minutes. Originally released on CD by Icelandic label Kitchen Motors in 2001, now released on vinyl for the first time by Cold Spring.
Produced by Barry Adamson, Jóhann Jóhannsson, and Pan Sonic. The cover art features Icelandic electronic composer Magnús Blöndal Jóhannsson having a brain scan performed while listening to this disc.

BizarreSickSeedMania - II CD (Freak Animal: BSSMIICD)
In 2010, Freak Animal and Filth & Violence issued ”What’s Your Pleasure,Sir?” LP by collaboration project of Bizarre Uproar, Sick Seed and Mania.Highly praised collaboration of these provocateurs of noise underground didn’t gain it’s praise based on it’s offensiveness, but because of artistic strength. High energy levels of brutal noise makes album to stand out in mass of bleak releases. Freak Animal is still planning to reissue this album on CD during 2018.
Second collaboration of BizarreSSmania doesn’t repeat the exact same patterns. It is logical result, but also fresh. Each project has developed their sound and style during almost 10 years gap between these two releases. Second time they meet represents the fusion of current sound of projects. Bleak, rotten, crude and fierce combinations of many of the elements that each project is known for – but with different type of results what they did last time or what they do in solo works.Slowly starting broken crackling, damaged fuzzy lo-fi sound, experimentation of utterly dirty and disgusting sounds that present album often to be what many noise releases are not: Difficult. You are guaranteed to get satisfactory amount of pure energetic noise bursts, but also disturbing, unnerving sonic damage. Raw edits and abrupt changes of atmosphere finally makes sense when you hear album as whole. It’s no use to listen couple minute fragments to preview full album.Explicit artwork (censored here) and theme, please be aware!!. $12.67

Black Front - We March 12inch Pic Disc (Corvus Records: CRVS15LP)
Four track vinyl. It has been 2 years since Black Front released their first full lenght album, “The Forgotten.” During these 2 years the world contiued on its path to become an even more violent place where people are killed in large numbers at one time .On A side you can hear anthem-like track “Death march”. The band uses the term ‘Death March’ (i.e. making a group of people walk until they die,) as in Armenian Genocide, as a metaphor for what is happening today. Devastating and hopeless cry of a soul on a death march. To the end of he world. The music is slow, heavy repeating solid riff and march-like machine drumming. The second song is called “ Black heart and red sky” it is an ode to one of our favourite movies, Milcho Manchevski’s “Before The Rain” and perhaps to our Balkan roots, bringing the theme of forced departure full circle. On B-side you can hear 2 remixes-the first one is done by ambient artist called Mytrip-and is based on “Death march” track. Haunting and scary, while the second one is titled “180 degrees” by dark ambient artist SHRINE (remix of the first song “90 degrees” from the debut album of Black Front.) has more ambient feeling. This printed as a picture disc on heavyweight vinyl with sound mastered my J.Plotkin (O.L.D.) will give you the right mood. $14.00

Bleach For the Stars - The Time for Silver Flowers CD (Cromlech Recordings: CromCD1704)
Bleach For The Stars is the dark ambient, drone & industrial project of Benjamin Power, hailing from the UK. His music is best described as an intense, raw and powerfully emotional journey into the dark regions of his mind. Ben uses his art to deal with his past and his life's experiences. Without going into his personal details it is clear to the listener that Ben has had his fair share of tragedy and bleak moments in life. This results in extremely profound musical pieces that create a menacing feeling but also make you appreciate them as something very pure and unreserved. Seldoml has music been such a direct and stark statement as with this album. "The time for silver flowers" is a therapeutic and dramatic expression by an artist who is truly fascinating.. $12.67

CHVE - Rasa CD (Consouling Sounds: Soul059)
Colin H. van Eeckhout is best known when he is surrounded by kindred his spirits in sludge/post metal outfit, Amenra, but now he steps into the limelight on his own, solely using a hurdy gurdy and his voice as instruments to dig deep within his own self.
This is CHVE at his most vulnerable. Just a man, his thoughts, scars and memories, with his voice and his instrument. The album is magnificently produced by Dehn Sora (Treha Sektori, Sembler Deah), and brings long soundscapes capturing in ambient and droning sounds, what lies beyond what can be grasped by words.
CHVE started to build his album out of an empty void. He built layer upon layer, and rebuilt and reconstructed to complete his universe called RASA. The album ended up somewhere between folk, drone and ritual. But above all, the album is a conquest, a meditation and it offers an inward journey, between grief and tears.
Art and packaging design by the unimitable Dehn Sora.. $11.33

Corrupted - Felicific Algorithim 12inch LP (Cold Spring: CSR240LP)
Corrupted is a mysterious Japanese doom metal band, formed in 1994. Immensely downtuned guitar and crushingly slow bass are shrouded under deep layers of feedback. They are rightly hailed as one of the heaviest and darkest doom metal bands of all time.
"Humankind's folly it its continuing idiocy. This is the beginning of the "Hollow" series. The schoolyard of the school was buried in the mountains of radioactive contaminated rubble. We cannot hear children's voices from anywhere. I hear it is the world of sound of only footsteps and the warning sound of the Geiger counter..." (Chew Hasegawa)
This record isn't your standard doom fare. The title-less tracks are to be played at either standard vinyl speed. Therefore (and at the band's request), no samples or download code.

Creation Through & Maurizio Bianchi - Nullification CD (4iB Records: 4iB714)
Serbian experimental harsh noise act Creation Through Destruction (Aleksandar Nenad) teams up with Italian Industrial maestro Maurizio Bianchi to create an industrial themed noisescape composed with analog equipment and treated with digital electronics.
The basis of this album revolves around the churn of machinery and throbbing pulses of mechanized loops. The overall ambience of analog sounds derived from field recordings, tape loops, radio static from a compact stereo and a damaged vinyl ebb and flow through the various layers, exuding a bleak reality of an industrialized dystopia.. $10.50

Damien Dubrovnik - Great Many Arrows LP (Posh Isolation: Posh200)
Great Many Arrows' is the 6th studio album from Damien Dubrovnik, the Danish duo of Loke Rahbek and Christian Stadsgaard. It is also the 200th release on their Posh Isolation label, marking 8 years for both the label and project. The label's inception came with Damien Dubrovnik's debut album, and since then the two have been inseparable. Without Damien Dubrovnik there would most likely have been no Posh Isolation, and vice versa.
'Great Many Arrows' is undoubtedly a high point in the varied discographies of both Rahbek and Stadsgaard. It is the most realized Damien Dubrovnik recording to date, and a standout in Posh Isolation's troves.
As a record, 'Great Many Arrows' manages to translate the intensity of the duo's often unrestrained live shows in to carefully crafted studio productions. Unlike the pair's earlier and largely electronic recordings, the compositions on 'Great Many Arrows' set organs, cellos, violas, wind and other acoustic instruments against the backdrop of an electronic landscape.
The new toolset is as apparent on the surface as it is in the enclosed detail, taking the project further from its noise roots than it has ever been. This is not to say that Rahbek and Stadsgaard have traded ferocity for formal constraint. It is rather the opposite. While 'Great Many Arrows' is certainly the pair's most 'musical' work to date, its veneer of accessibility might also make it their most terrifying.
The strength of the recording lies here in the interaction between the melodic, acoustic instrumentation and the bulldozing electronics. Moments of beauty and light are transfigured into utter chaos and rage, the mesmerising change an expression of the equal and opposite form's natural sway as it beckons and slips between its own passing.
'Great Many Arrows' takes its name from a historic archery competition in Kyoto, Japan, in which archers would shoot as many arrows as possible for a 24 hour period.. $15.00

Day Before Us is an ethereal and dark ambient music act formed by Philippe Blache and whose trajectory has involved working across lyrical sound poetry and scores for art events as well as film experiments. The project is notably recognized for its releases published by Rage in Eden, Twilight Records and Opn Records. The emotional content of this new album emphasizes moments of blurry sadness, intimacy, sacrality and evocativeness while the stylistical shape carries on a musical dynamic between atmospheric sound minimalism, brightly devotional then classical singing qualities, orchestrally cinematic harmonies and brooding tones.. $12.67

Death Squad - Isolation As Intent LP (Audio Dissection: AD15)
First ever vinyl reissue of one of the severe classic album by Death Squad "Isolation As Intent" originally released on Spastik Kommunikations (ex-Spastik Soniks / pre-Neural Operations) as SK2 in 2000.
"Silence begins in the mind, surrogate feeding times & diminishing drives, to want, to move, to have, to covet, to exist. Death dominates all. The walls are cold... Made from nocturnal desecrations, in & along the false senses we create & perceive. Sound gains, motioning as if dead, suffocated in aisles of paranoia, it looks & breath. We have felt the glow of blood pouring from self inflicted wounds, from abuse, we have felt this & can no longer deny the release of pressure that the world & its parasites demond. Stretches of incogruent speech, focus lost. Well hidden in the addiction, drugs, sleep, self isolation. There is nothing... Subconscious atrocities at night, the reverberations from the mind begin their relentless attack... Self divided by self... Nothing left to bury but my body." - Notes from original disc

Dread (Lustmord) - In Dub CD (Ant-Zen: Act352)
Dread is a newly formed project of legendary sound artist Brian Williams, best known as Lustmord. Since 1980 his dark sound sculptures have been highly influential not only in music genres such as ambient and industrial, but also in film and games. Besides these genres, Williams is thoroughly captivated by the sonic potential of dub music, an obsession reflected in the various dub mixes he’s made for other artists: Think of the remix album for Puscifer, or the dub remix EP for the Lustmord album [other] in 2009. For years it was his desire to form an individual project dedicated to the dub genre, and after much preparation and recording, ant-zen is glad to present Dread’s debut In Dub.The mightiness and intensity of this album is both tense and trance-inducing, drawing attention to the shape and depth of the space between sounds as well as to the sounds themselves. The instrumental tracks, drenched in echo and reverberation, ebb and flow, dropping in and out of the mix, kept together by the prominent use of varied deep bass sounds. The use of implemented voices, acoustic drums and an electric guitar played by Wes Borland of Limp Bizkit impart a distinctly organic feel to the music even though the effects are electronically created.
Both unique and original, this release melds seamlessly into the tapestry of Brian Williams’ work. Breathtaking, dark, unshiftable and solid, this is the kind of dread where you’re not sure where the evil force lurks, but you know it’s out there searching for you…. $13.33

Dronny Darko - Abduction CD (Cryo Chamber: Cryo068)
Dronny Darko brings us a new album of dark dreams, recorded in the smoke filled Black Room studio (Kiev, Ukraine).
Dark entities roam the edge of our reality. An incomprehensible intellect observes our primitive patterns and behaviors. Vulnerable and naked, you become abducted and pulled into their domain. Examined by strange machines that hum, buzz and drip. You awaken, ankle deep in a purple fetid sludge that submerges the floor of the charcoal citadel. Alien symbols adorn the colossal doorways here, each leading into a new world. In the distance guttural clicks reverberate as they watch your trembling steps from within the shadows. Are they waiting for you to choose your fate?
This album merges the lowercase and minimal genre with a strong science fiction element. Throbbing bass layers croak and groan under the pressure of whirling machines that buzz and hum. Very dark and brooding.. $12.67

Eidulon - Combustioni CD (Malignant: TumorCD111)

Following an 11 year absence since his debut, Idolatriae, Eidulon returns a radically different entity. Whereas Idolatriae was haunting and minimal catacomb ambience, Combustioni is otherwise now a daunting, full on apocalyptic industrial, auditory excursion, complete with crushingly ominous brass chords, fearsome horn proclamations, organ, and doom filled atmospherics. Contributions of murderous, gnarled vocals courtesy of Nordvargr and Luca Soi, as well as caustic noise from Italian heavy electronic practitioners Naxal Protocol (ex-Cazzodio) add a powerful element, often cutting through a blaze of swelling tones and pneumatic percussive pummel, the only respite coming in the form of collaborative tracks with Kammarheit and Caul, which sees Eidulon returning to the foggy gloom and bleak isolationism that populated the debut. Collectively, it’s quite the provocative declaration, shattering genre barriers and setting the soundtrack for a world of incinerated cities, global plagues, and nuclear winters.
In ultra-luxurious 10 panel, Maltese Cross digipak.
"... a much more assertive apocalyptic industrial excursion. Eidulon’s sound has grown both in volume and in confidence: it demands attention and focus and proclaims itself from on high rather than insinuating itself from the background. It’s a vortex of dissonant brass, organ and electronically generated noise, still heavy on atmosphere, but brimming with the confidence of a conquering army" Heathen Harvest. $10.67

Entre Vifs - Ontologie CD (Aussaat: Aussaat06)
New release from this long standing, "bruitiste" project, “Ontologie” offers a selection of extracts from their best recent sessions.
Each of these excerpts have been positioned so that they appear like bruitiste pieces, composed with care, even though all of these pieces are played live. Each time, it is a symphony of noises, extremely varied in intensity and frequency where one can distinguish, with precision, the sound detached from its original source. Entre Vifs’ noise generators are delicate and relatively small in size, but the sounds they produce through mechanical means are captured by electric guitar pickups and piezoelectric cells, then sent to a battery of amplifiers and homemade effect processors. The effect is quite massive, however it is not only a question of volume but a stereophonic depth effect where sonic masses seem to thicken and change continuously.. $13.00

Eraldo Bernocchi & Netherworld - Himuro CD (Glacial Movements: Iceberg3)
"Himuro” is the debut album of ambient duo Eraldo Bernocchi/Netherworld. Composed and produced in two years of exchanging material and sound inputs coming both from electronic treated guitars and organic sources. The album lies its foundation on ambient, dub, space and distance.“Himuro" was an "ice cellar", a "'cold room" during the Edo period in Japan. The Kanazawa castle had one and after, during the Meiji period, these rooms were part of palaces. Often used for storing snow and keeping it during summer they had medical, food or ceremonial importance. During summer snow or ice kept in the himuro were sometimes sent from one castle to the other travelling as far as 500 km, relocating the "coldness". For months Netherworld supplied Bernocchi with a vast array of soundscapes and textures, an endless stream of feelings and emotions that the latter used to create the foundations of the album tracks on which constructed guitar scapes (often not recognisable), bass lines, harmonies and grooves. After month of collecting and creating sound inputs, Bernocchi started to carefully assemble what we now can listen on Himuro. A velvety sound creation constantly balancing between a rhythm approach and pure drifting scapes.. $12.77

Genevieve Pasquier - Louche Effect CD (Ant-Zen: Act361)
The eagerly awaited fourth full length album by the German noise chanteuse Geneviéve Pasquier - an imaginary arena where avant-garde, pop and industrial ingredients intermix in the most peculiar way like a milky oil-in-water emulsion. The thirteen atmospheric, captivating compositions build the foundation for easily understood and utterly incomprehensible thematic symbolism between bleak shadows ('Apesanteur', 'Dirty Blue') and enjoyable brightness ('Gin Tonic').
'Louche Effect' digs different stylistic gardens and shows the eccentric femme fatale at ease with a wide spectrum of sounds and subjects. It's sonic span ranges from highly dosed dark electro avant-pop with hooked new romantic melody lines and primordial neo-noir post industrial dreamscapes to eerily haunting chansons with deep ethereal lounge and downtempo elements. Geneviéve's fragile, persuasive and sometimes highly modulated voice is carried by a wealth of electronic spheres stabilized with most different structures and dubious shady beats.
This album significantly shows Geneviéve Pasquier's evolution in composition, interpretation and sound mastering. an intriguing, elegant and seducing sonic wallpaper, fluctuating from tender-hearted noblesse to adroit virtuosity and speaking to listeners' feelings between positive affirmation and dark layers of melancholy.. $13.33

Genocide Organ - Civilization 2CD (Tesco: Tesco115)
This release was already planned in 2011 for the 20th anniversary of "Save our Slaves". The implementation and the restoration of the original source material took a lot of time, especially the sound-files of the 1990 pre-release concert which are completed for this set for the 1st time. Genocide Organ had to dig deep into long-forgotten parts of the archive, to reconstruct as many as possible of the original photo-materials, reconstruct, extend and re-view them.
The work on the new album "The Obituary of the Americas" delayed the completion as well, but then also accelerated it, as both publications were cut across thematically. Now it is done! A further stone fits into the wall of the bands historical back catalogue.
CD version:Limited first edition comes as deluxe linenpaper covered, foilblocked and debossed Hard-Slipcase, incl. Coverpak with double CD and extensive large 24p booklet. Only this first edition comes as special Hard-Slipcase Set with the additional Live CD.

And now, it shines once again as a totally remastered 20 year anniversary edition. Complete with 2 additional tracks recorded around the same time and formerly released on the Monochrome Meditator MC only (SSSM / Japan 1991). This material stands as not only of one of the most wanted recordings ever within the genre, but also one of the most seminal - an outstanding, benchmark release in post industrial music that only GO themselves has managed to eclipse. The perfect balance of power electronic, rhythm based tracks as well as dark drowning ambient pieces with haunting samples. The two additional tracks, so far unknown to the majority, are fitting perfectly to the line-up of the early industrial-rhythm driven sound of the band. The CD version comes in a nice spot varnished digipack with the logo debossed on the front cover, similar to : In-Konflikt :. God Body Disconnect - Sleeper's Fate CD (Cryo Chamber: Cryo074)
God Body Disconnect presents us with the next chapter in his saga of a comatose man banished to the recesses of his tortured mind. The journey begins taking us back to the fateful night of his sentencing. Beyond the halls of beeping machines, whirling sirens echo in the distance. Blackened clouds grumble down a bitter melody of tears upon the streets. A single shot blares between your ears, dropping you to the bed of concrete below. Here we witness the transformation of a once awakened man turned to sleeping prisoner.
Plunging deeper into the heart of the unconscious mind, the doors to a mysterious labyrinth emerge before us. From behind the towering walls, strange voices beckon us to enter. We insert and turn the key, unlocking a hidden portal to the past. A forgotten dimension, where once suppressed memories now filter through the lens of the surreal. This is the place where our darkest reflections go to hide. Self-perception is liquid here, and the emotional landscapes morph at will.

Grunt - Castrate the Illusionist CD (Freak Animal: GCTI01)
Castrate The Illusionist goes directly into the line of albums such as 'Myth Of Blood' (2015), 'World Draped In A Camouflage' (2012), 'Petturien Rooli' (2009) and 'Seer of Decay' (2006). On this path of the recent 10 years, Grunt focused mostly on creation of coherent albums. Each album has had its own character, yet often a continuation of sound and themes of the previous one. 'Castrate The Illusionist' album represents both the sonic rawness of direct live-on-tape recordings as well as the obsessive care on small detail. The 40 minute album consists of 11 tracks, making most of them short, loaded with strong impact that leaves one with a hunger for more. The sound combines the traditions of experimental electronics to fierce power electronics and industrial noise, aiming at a fusion of interesting textures and details without losing the ripping violent force of the dark side of noise. Hadewych - Welving CD (Malignant: TumorCD115)
Though the project of Dutchman Peter Johan Nÿland, contributions from members of Trepaneringsritualen, Dead Neanderthals, Turia and veteran experimental vocalist Greetje Bijma, help Hadewych to function more as a collective as it amorphously shapeshifts and navigates through a broad swath of styles. And yet, Welving is so finely honed and skillfully crafted, that it works as a singular, whole, never losing a firm grasp on what remains at the core of its unique and dynamic sound. Still, it is nearly impossible to classify or define, utilizing a broad array of instrumentation, working in the monolithic, organic and the acoustic, and filtering it through a complex network of darkened, post-industrial, post-black, ritual hallucinations, and noir-ish Bohren And Der Club Of Gore deathjazz, with a steady stream of insistent bass, percussion, and spoken narrative to propel many of the tracks forward. Hadewych defines their music as black rituals channeling the ultra-grotesque, which is about an apt description as you're going to find, and yet it's that vagueness and ambiguity that manages to sum them up perfectly. One of the most unique and exceptional releases under the Malignant banner, and highly recommended for those unafraid to venture into realms unknown.
"Heavy with dark mysticism and creative bravery, Welving constructs an intricate web of industrial, dark jazz, black metal, and more besides – as if Coil, Bohren And Der Club Of Gore, and 666 International-era Dodheimsgard wrote a record together. Welving is one of the most captivating, refreshingly unique records I have encountered in some time; and also one of the most rewarding. This is the kind of record that, if you let it, could take over your life....Though it is early days, Welving feels like one of the best records that will be released this year – it’s certainly one of the most adventurous and creatively daring". Havenaire - Rabot CD (Glacial Movements: GM031)
Havenaire is John Roger Olsson, a composer, musician and producer based in Stockholm. After many years performing as the melancholic pop act The Grand Opening, John Roger launched his new ambient electronic alias Havenaire early 2016. The debut album ’Tremolo’ was released on the US label Constellation Tatsu. Previously a guitarist and drummer by trade, now analog synthesizers dominates his sound. John Roger has always been interested in the process of making music and his sense for details is highly noticeable throughout the sound image.
Inspired by old photos taken 1910 by Fredrik Enquist (1885-1963), a Swedish geographer, the theme of his new album Rabot for the Italian label Glacial Movements came to form. Layer upon layer building up walls of sound pushing its way slowly through out the albums six songs. He treats his ambience with a pop sensibility, massive sound that sometimes climaxes in chorus-like parts, with distant piano notes echoing in the background. While other times the music falls apart and only leaves traces of its previous monumental washing sounds.. $13.99

Himukalt - Knife Through the Spine LP (APRIL 27th, 2018) (Malignant: TumorLP116)
THIS IS A PRE-ORDER. THIS ITEM AND ALL ITEMS ORDERED WITH IT WILL SHIP ON OR AROUND APRIL 27TH.
As admirers of Himukalt’s four previous tape releases, Malignant is pleased to present the first full length LP from this promising, Nevada based, female fronted act. The project of the enigmatic Ester Kärkkäinen, Knife Through the Spine delivers a steady cascade of abstract sounds, festering with grinding pneumatic throb, coarse frequency blasts and sputtering electronic oscillations, with spliced snippets of processed, flanged vocals and a general sense of social anxiety and disaffection. There’s something uniquely old school and primitive at work here, capturing the claustrophobic, unsettled and fragmented sound of early Illusion of Safety or mid-late ‘80s industrial on a whole, contemporizing it, and filling it in with an obsessive, post-mortem feel. A unique and challenging take on heavy electronics for fans of Puce Mary, She Spread Sorrow, Atrax Morgue. Lmtd 200 copies.. $18.00

Hybryds - Only Darkness CD (Sleepless: SRB029)
Belgian art / music project born in the underground of the 80 ties in previous century, Hybryds has always been a project of worldwide located people working together, ( by mail) directed by mastermind Magthea.
Hybryds were one of the first bands to explore the tribal, atavistic feeling of losing your mind in the sound of music. By mixing contemporary electronic techniques with ancient tribal influences they created a new eclectic music style, crossing the borders of ethnic and industrial music: Ritual music. The last 3 CDs ( on Sleepless) were born out of live jam sessions between Magthea, Peter De Koning, Madeline Arndt and even Barry Edgar Pilcher ( who came of his island after 25 years to join Hybryds in person.)
Going back to their roots: ritual music. Trance inducing ambient atmospheres, from Barry's manipulated saxophone are sucked up in tribal rhythms, electronic beats, colouredwith the intense percussion of TraumaSutra, blend in the evocative and impressing vocals of Madeline Arndt. When you close your eyes, and let your heartbeat synchronise with the pulsating rhythms from ancient lost times and free your mind on the magical sound waves, you can tune in with the great Universe of Life. Darkness will eat parts of your soul and show you the light.. $14.67

Hybryds - Ritual of the Rave 2CD (Zoharum: Zohar151-2)
For the past several years Zoharum has been reissung the subsequent albums of the Belgian independent scene legend, Hybryds; so far five has been released. "The Ritual of the Rave" is the sixth installment in this series and is an expanded version of the 1995 album. It has not lost its freshness in those years. It is electronica with strong ambient and ethnic music influences locked in six long, slowly developing compositions. Here there are rhythmic elements directly taken from techno (which announced further changes in the Belgian project's repertoire.) "Icarus" or "Sjamanistic Dream" are still classics in the Hybryds catalogue.
This is also one of the expanded editions of their classic albums. The second disc shows what Hybryds was like at concerts during the period when the recordings were made (live tracks compose the first five tracks recorded in 1995). In addition, we have three studio compositions here here. The first one belongs to the collaborative Hydra project, whose only official recording appeared on the compilation "The Uncertain Future" on Antler. The other two are the early recordings from 1988 by Magthea with Mark Burghgreave of Klinik. One of them, "Octahedron", appeared on the absolutely first single of the project.
The album has been digitally remastered from the original master tapes by none else but Sandy Nys, who also provided the cover based on the previous editions. The CDs are housed in a digipak sleeve and the album is strictly limited to 500 copies.. $14.67

Tarkovski, IURTA’s first full length album deals with the fragmentation of identity, of a mind forged by short-circuited information processes. It is a guided descent into an abstracted insanity, a sonic diary of the verge of mental breakdown through soundscapes built upon cascading drones, harsh textures and minimal sonic oscillations. Jarl - Negative Rotation / Intensive Fracture 2CD (Zoharum: Zohar152-2)
After the critically acclaimed (and almost sold-out) collaborative album with Evenomist, Jarl returns to Zoharum fold with the next release. It is the first in the series of albums collecting rare works of Erik Jarl known for his involvement with IRM and Skin Area apart from his solo work. His own compositions are an exquisite mix of static ambient with strong influence of drone, noise or post-industrial electronica in general.
This double CD is a reissue of two cassettes originally released by Abisko. They were recorded on a Fostex 8-track recorder. Both tapes sound very different. ”Negative Rotation” is cold and monotonous, but with some changes in sounds that repeats themselves, while ”Intensive Fracture” is improvised psychedelic floating noise. Both recordings were done with analogue synthesizers and analogue effects. This double CD also contains five bonus tracks from different compilations.
The CD are housed in an ecopak sleeve and is strictly limited to 250 copies. The cover picture and design was made by Karolina Urbaniak (responsible for the lastest covers Jarl, IRM and Skin Area albums and widely known for here photographic work.) The album was remastered by Łukasz Miernik. The whole production process was overseen by Michał Porwet.. $14.33

Kazeria - Nihilist Militant CD (Twilight Recordings: TWI.150)
With this new album, Kazeria gathers a retrospective and very personal material. All tracks (or "explorations") are unedited and were recorded between 2003-2007, earlier in the formation of the project and during “a troubled personal time; one of militant nihilism” according to [S] own words. Neither hi-tech nor hi-fi were used in here.
Back at that time [S] employed worn and minimal gear, using primitive recording techniquies (hand-manipulation, mostly) in order to create "old school" and minimalistic industrial, black / dark ambient and noise but including many elements that can be recognized on Kazeria´s later works.. $11.33

Kazumoto Endo - Live at Sendai Contemporary Museum singled sided LP (Audio Dissection: AD16)
One-of-a-kind 12" vinyl record, a testament of a glorious Endo-san performance held in 1999 at the Sendai Contemporary Museum, Sendai (Japan). In the same year the CD "While You Were Out" was released, a milestone which set highest quality harsh noise on a whole new level and that still today, almost 20 years later, it is regarded as a pinnacle of the genre. This live recording shows once again an artist on fire, both in studio as well on stage, with usual master-control over his sharp and abrasive electronics. A delightful mangle to the fanatic's earholes with non-stop assault of metal scrap feedbacks and powerful, crushing walls of distortions. Thankfully to the excellent quality of this recording an abundance of sonic details can be fully appreciated, as well as the explosive live energy and physical feeling deeply experienced.. $14.00

Khost - Governance CD (Cold Spring: CSR237CD)
“Governance” continues KHOST‘s immersion in themes of detachment and dissonance, and ruminates upon the exertion of wills that are not your own, and upon the ways to detect and trace the outlines of the presence(s) that may exert these daily wills upon you, day by day. It was written over the course of the 2016/17 Winter, during times of unease and sickness for the band, including one near-death experience. The resulting album is a hinterland of low resolution transmissions interspersed with broad concrete columns of distortion that loom suddenly from the dim landscape. Governance is like driving at night with your spirituality asleep at the wheel.
With demoralizing vocal terror, hypnotic nightmarescapes, frost-encrusted tones, and horrifying rhythms, KHOST’s Governance devastates the listener with nearly fifty minutes of entrancing yet hazardous tectonic doom-laced revulsion. Features guest appearances from Eugene Robinson (OXBOW), and Jo Quail, and includes a remix of the track ‘Coven’ by Tel Aviv artist Adrian Stainburner.. $12.50

Koufar - Phoenicianism CD (Old Captain: OCCD36)
"Phoenicianism is an attempt to put on display the further identity crisis that many of the Lebanese face. Whether its over there, or here in America the confusion reigns supreme. Arab or Phoenician? Western or Eastern? Christian or Muslim? Identity often dictates politics, but with the Lebanese that is not consistent. Historically the only thing consistent is instability. An instability creating frictions that slowly grind against one another until the only eastern answer is reached, violence. Caught between Eastern values and Western luxuries. This album attempts to reflect all of this, while mixing in the artists own personal experiences of living a life of dualism. Misbaha beads or "Worry" beads? Christ or Shams? Allah or Mawt? Walk the edge of the boxcutters razor and make your offering." Remastered and accompanied with an exclusive material the CD is released in a full-colour matte-laminated 6-panel Digipak in edition of 300 copies. $14.33

Krzysztof Penderecki - Kosmogonia CD (Cold Spring: CSR238)
Unnerving, intense, bloodcurdling, sinister, dramatic – the music of “Kosmogonia” features Penderecki’s famous, unorthodox instrumental techniques, and some of the darkest music ever composed.
Hailed by The Guardian as “Poland’s greatest living composer”, Krzysztof Penderecki is the maestro behind the unforgettable, disturbing music on The Shining (including ‘De Natura Sonoris II’, featured here). A complex tapestry of sound with striking use of pizzicato and flexatone, with aggressive barrages from brass and percussion, dissonant woodwind chords, spoken and hissing sounds, fervent strings, swirling organ, climactic choral and solo vocals.
Krzysztof Penderecki’s unique music has featured in films such as: The Shining, The Exorcist, Children Of Men, The People Under The Stairs, Shutter Island, Inland Empire, Fearless, Wild At Heart, and recently featured on the Twin Peaks reboot.
Thanks to the estate of Krzysztof Penderecki, Cold Spring are honoured to present this masterpiece in digital format for the first time since the 1974 vinyl release. Sympathetically remastered for CD by Denis Blackham and Martin Bowes. 6-panel digipak.. $12.50

Last Dominion Lost - Snowdrops From A Curate's Garden CD (Epicurean: Cure8CD)
CD version of an LP released back in 2015. "Snowdrops from a Curate's Garden” is a 2011 live recording of industrial veterans Last Dominion Lost with all exclusive, unreleased tracks. Active since 1992, Last Dominion Lost feature Jon Evans, John Murphy (Shining Vril, Krank, Ex-SPK/Whitehouse/Current 93) and Julian Percy. Through their pedigree, Last Dominion Lost are considered to justifiably carry the legacy of the legend that is SPK - and that’s also by their sound, as they stand for an undiluted brand of industrial music, combining shuddering analogue sounds, clanging metal rhythms and feedback with ritual percussion & chants. On “Snowdrops from a Curate's Garden” the main focus lies on the hypnotic, ritual and mental aspects of music, with an omnipresent metallic percussive backbone. It comes as no surprise to find the group reveling in dark subject matter like psychopathology, debasement and religious deviation, to which they manage to deliver an authentic soundtrack.
This live album has been recorded at Kalyug Festival, Berlin in 2011 and is perfectly mastered by James Plotkin, providing the album a sharp, forceful & modern sound. Thus “Snowdrops from a Curate's Garden” can be considered the missing link between the grainy, demo-type 1990s recordings that became “The Tyranny of Distance” (Tesco, 2004) and the enthusiastically received “Towers Of Silence” album (The Epicurean / silken tofu, 2014), which displayed a very contemporary, indicatory approach at that classic industrial sound.. $13.77

Mania - Foul Inside 3inch CD (Freak Animal: FreakCD92)
Mania has had several releases on Freak Animal. While one can always conclude that each of the releases has been different, they have the same overall sound palette. Brute electronics, feedback, metal junk, scarcely used vocals. Hardly power electronics, but also not material what would file under standard noise. Mania has such a recognizable sound. For example, listening to a compilation that is full of unknown and anonymous noise, his material always stands out clearly as Mania. This type of personality is rare in genre of noise. “Foul Inside” continues his work flawlessly: It is most definitely Mania, but slightly more abstract and slower moving perhaps? To fully analyze what precisely makes it different from all things in past, is hard, but one can clearly feel it instantly in first listening.
When asking Mania himself, his approach was very down to earth: “I had three unreleased tracks plus a new piece I like.” Benefits of the format was simply that “The 4 tracks fit the length well.” Tracks are presented in one solid 20 minute piece, without indexing or giving specific details, capturing similar feel as Mania tapes have had. $8.99

Manikari - L'Océan Rêve Dans Sa Loisiveté (Second Session) CD (Zoharum: ZOHAR153-2)
Three years after the release of "Continuum Sonore Part 7>14" back in 2014, the remarkable French duo Maninkari returns to Zoharum catalogue with their new offering. Just like the title says, the new album is a continuation of the recordings entitled "L'Océan Rêve Dans Sa Loisiveté". Once again, the duo proves that they are unmatched in creating unbelievable and unclassifiable sound texture."L'Océan Rêve Dans Sa Loisiveté, Second Session" is much based on improvisation and leaves room for more melodies, especially for viola, the resonances of the bodhran and its repetitive rhythms gives access to a form of trance and have a character of composition. This album with the subjective title transports us in a frenetic universe where the sea mother of idleness reigns in all power, land and sea form a vibrant balance. The voluntary control of certain melodies is felt through cymbalom and santoor and sharp long ethereal resonances. The voluntary reverberation of certain instruments resounds like a dream prayer. The CD is housed in an ecopak sleeve and is strictly limited to 300 copies. Martyria - Martyria CD (Malignant: TumorCD117)
With its great textural depth, sepulchral atmospheres, and exotic, richly detailed ritualistic passages, the stunning, self-titled debut from the Greek male/female duo Martyria signifies the arrival of a vital new entry into the world of ritual/dark ambience and a welcome addition to the Malignant roster.
Running 41 minutes spread over five tracks, the disc opens with “Logos”, a haunting piece track of gorgeous female keening, angelically drifting over a bed of primitive Byzantine rhythms and liturgical chants. It deftly sets the tone and lays the foundation for the proceeding pieces, which move from bottomless, subterranean drift and luminescent drones, to more sinister realms marked by slow, tribal percussion, resonating wood instrumentation, and elongated vocalizations. All of it flows seamlessly, rising from tendrils of wood smoke and incense, rooted in spiritual and ceremonial darkness, and bound together by atavistic and organic means.

Masonna - Exploring Self-Corrosive Noise With Coquette 7xCassette Box (Urashima: URA037_43)
Along with Merzbow and Hijokaidan, Masonna is one of the best (known) Japanese noise projects. A psychedelic touch, cascades of electronic noise and vocal belching mixed together constitute the ingredients of Mademoiselle Anne Sanglante Ou Notre Nymphomanie Auréolé, the double-barrelled named for Masonna. Yamazaki "Maso" Takushi created Masonna in 1987. He started recordings on cassette tapes for his own label: Coquette. His plentiful productions were presented in a ultra limited edition, sometime totally confidential (one sole copy), and contributed to create a mythology based above all on the astonishing intensity with which '' Maso '' devastates and reprocesses the vocal cords, in a true total electronic song.In his impressive live performances he created and electrically overcharged universe, punctuating the electric and vocal sonorous power with some quite moments and brief interruptions, conferring a very particular dynamic to his pieces.Masonna is an emblematic figure of Japanoise, who shines by a personal approach and an immediately recognizable style. Northaunt - Istid III CD (Glacial Movements: GM032)
Northaunt is the ambient project of Norwegian Hærleif Langås, and has since the late nineties released 4 albums where the signature sound is a mix of field recording from nature, soundscapes and ambient, inspired by norse nature and landscapes and our role as a part of nature. The composing of ISTID came as a reaction to our modern lifes, our world and how it sometimes seem confusing, stressful and noisy. Put of by all this and inspired by books about earths history, iceages and the forces that formed the landscapes we have today, Hærleif started making ISTID, Iceage in Norwegian, to imagine a world of silence before man. This is the 3rd album in the series and we can now imagine man is about to start his lonely quest for meaning in the desolation. The frozen winds of the north lash and temper the soul. Their constant breath drags the listener towards the more organic part of “Istid III”. Dark ambient made in Norway, third chapter of the Northaunt trilogy, hinged between the horizons of a remote Ice Age. Imperceptible the continuum between Part I and Part II. Some will-o'-the-wisps indicate the way to go. Mystic tolls, indecipherable background noises. Strategic field recordings. A female voice in the distance seals the apex of the loss even inside the body. The dull shades fade. Part III is the watershed track of the album, full of nostalgia. A slow flowing in a placid forest of sounds. Section of a moment. The hypnosis induced by Part IV breaks on a handful of words pronounced this time by a man. A net change of pace during the ten minutes of Part V. The atmosphere of meditation is favored by shy keyboard notes. The subterranean tensions lose their vigor. Glows radiate the darkness of the night. Deep and desolate. The embers that burns the last farewell to our day. Once it was fire on Earth.. $14.33

Olhon - Fortean Tales LP (Eibon: OHL100)
The return of this heralded atmospheric project consisting of Massimo Magrini (Bad Sector) and Zairo (Where) . "The fate of all explanation is to close one door only to have another fly wide open". Charles Fort. "Fortean tales" takes this concept to a whole new level. It presents a series of organic, pulsating, sound sources recorded (rigorously live) in various "haunted" and mysterious locations throughout Italy. Destined to all open-minded dark ambient lovers. The LP comes in a limited edition of 400 hand-numbered copies, in marbled brown/orange/green vinyl.. $19.33

Orphx - 01/02 2CD (Hospital Productions: HOS478)
There are less than a handful of bands that can honestly say they were equally involved in the early 90’s noise scene, the mid 2000’s dark ambient scene, and what simultaneously emerged as the power noise movement in Europe. Orphx is one of these pioneers and have gracefully interwoven their tortured electronic architecture among the various subcultures of fringe electronics, while seamlessly continuing on to remain a vital part of the contemporary wave of industrial techno hysteria.
Here we have Orphx 01/02, the double CD counterpart to the noble Mannequin 2xLP vinyl release: Archive 1993/1994.
Edition of 300. Design by Juan Mendez. Further notes on what is included:

Phurpa - Chöd Ritual / Grotta Santarcangelo CD (Old Europa Café: OECD249)
On 7th July 2017 Phurpa performed a "Chöd" live ritual in Santarcangelo, Italy. The ritual was held inside a cave (grotta in Italian). Chöd is an ancient practice of cutting through tensions, fears, and obstacles in our life. In Chöd, we visualize making an offering of our body, which is transformed into whatever is wanted by all beings in all realms. In this vast offering we create and cultivate a flow with everything around us and are in contact with the boundless dimension of ourselves. Chöd involves all of the senses, as one practices it by visualizing the offering while singing and playing ritual instruments. Over an house of best quality tibetan ritual with the typical Phurpa instruments and vocals. Despite the similar titles, this is completely different material to the Zoharum CD "Chöd". Phurpa - Gyer Ro 2CD (Cyclic Law: 91stCycle)
New offering from Russia’s shamanic ritualists PHURPA. Channeling the void with their eerie and engulfing overtone ritual chants rooted in the BON tradition of Tibet, their mesmerising rituals are used as a tool of transmogrification. The chanting meditations are accentuated by the use nga drums, rolmo cymbals, gyaling oboes, as well as telescopic dunchen horns, dunkar shells and short wandun horns. Their performances are meant as exercises in aural power, channeled primordial sounds aimed to alter ones consciousness, otherworldly prayer mantras pulsating through the chakras. Phurpa - Rituals Of Bön II LP (Zoharum: Zohar146-1)
Phurpa is an extraordinary artistic and cultural project, not only on a European scale. For years, its members have been exploring the traditions of Bön – the magical practices of ancient Tibet, Iran and even Egypt, and they take it closer to their listeners.
A year ago the first volume of “Rituals of Bön” was released on vinyl. Zoharum now presents the second volume of this series, based on the recordings from the Moscow gigs where Phurpa performed magic shows lasting up until a few hours. The participants would certainly confirm that they are a highly intensive ritual in which both the band and the audience participate.
As in the case of the previous LP, the second part of the series presents the sacred aspect of the Russian troupe’s activity. It’s more than 40 minutes of shamanic trance. Just like the first volume, this edition on black vinyl is strictly limited to 300 copies.. $19.67

Phurpa - ya tog rid pa’i gyer 2CD (Zoharum: Zohar145-2)
This double album is the successor to the previous release entitled “Chöd” from nearly a year ago. The new release shows how Phurpa constantly transforms itself through their own musical exploration as well as personal spiritual development. Apart from intensive concerts, its members are famous for their long meditation trainings/sessions. This constant movement, the exploration of various techniques and discovering new inspirations in eastern culture makes Phurpa musicians more and more eager to use traditional instruments in addition to their distinctive “rgyud-skad” singing, thus enriching the already familiar formula. By emphasizing the sacred and spiritual nature of their activity, they seek to enrich it in such a way that the listener can find the novum, bearing in mind that not only the aesthetic but very spiritual world of the ancient deities of the Bön tradition is particularly important. The title, referring to the magical quest for the universe, should set the direction for the interpretation, or be merely a pretext or an invitation to this mystical journey.
The album consists of two discs with over 90 minutes of music. It is released in a 3-panel ecopak in a strictly limited edition of 500 copies.. $12.00

Phurpa & Mare di Dirac - Misericordia [Turin Session] LP (4iB Records: 4iB26LP)
Misericordia [Turin Session] was recorded in Italy on Sept 2015 and is a collaboration between shamanistic Bon spiritualists Phurpa from Russia and experimental drone and field recordings Italian act Mare Di Dirac, fronted by Lorenzo Abattoir.
The overall album drowns you in a meditative tantric soundscape consisting of Alexey Tegin’s deep gutteral vocal vibrations (rgyud-skad) or ‘tantric voice‘ and Lorenzo Abattoir’s dark ambient field recordings and sound effects. Organic sounds are produced by bells, gongs, chimes and traditional hand-made instruments created from human bone and animal remains, resonating a background ambience of calm and prayer.
This very intimate and powerful recording showcases the soul wrenching effects that take hold and the artists ability to shake the foundations of the human subconscious through ritualistic and meditative performance.. $20.00

Rapoon - My Life As a Ghost 2CD (Zoharum: Zohar141-2)
The next album in the Rapoon reissue series is "My Life as a Ghost" from 2004. It is suspended exactly between the "Rhiz" with its rhythmic structures and the human voice experiments known from, for example, "Disappeared". Another thing that returned are strong ambient textures which were absent from "Rhiz" coming from the same period and reissued together with "My Life as a Ghost" This is one of the most interesting, if not the most interesting Robin Storey album, from the first decade of 2000s.
The current edition, along with most other Rapoon re-releases in the Zoharum catalog, has been expanded to include an additional disc featuring refreshed unpublished recordings from the same session. On this second disc Robin Storey penetrates more rhythmic regions again, but with a strong melodious backbone. The extra 70 minutes completes the original album in a perfect way.
The CDs are housed in a digipak sleeve and the album is strictly limited to 500 copies. The cover is designed by Maciej Mehring based on Robin Storey's paintings. The album is mastered by Maciej Bartkowiak. The whole production process is overseen by Michał Porwet.. $14.67

Rapoon - Sanctus Equinox CD (Winter-Light: WIN012)
Rapoon's second release on Winter-Light.
Many people will already be familiar with Robin Storey. Not just for his pioneering work as founder of the industrial group :zoviet*france: in 1979, but also of course for his solo-project Rapoon, which began life in 1992. Now, 25 years after the inception of his solo ambient project, Rapoon is still very much with us and still very much active.
In celebration of this, his 25th Silver Anniversary, Winter Light releasing a trilogy of new work from Rapoon entitled ‘The Mercury Rising Trilogy’. The Mercury Rising Trilogy will comprise of three brand new studio albums, all with exclusive material. The albums will bring a new feel to Robin’s work, that of a more off world spacious feel, jazzy in parts with a ceremonial thread running throughout. Each album interlinked by this feel and theme, as the titles suggest, but with each one still having it’s own unique identity.
Here is the first part of the Mercury Rising Trilogy, ‘Sanctus Equinox’.
What if you had created a race of sentient beings and then simply abandoned them, having no further use left for them? What might become of them and what sort of world would these replicants create for themselves, if left to their own devices?
‘Sanctus Equinox’ is a portrayal of that world, a painted landscape of the secret rites and ceremonies practiced by it’s inhabitants. Celebrations and rituals created to overcome the sense of loss and abandonment, after being discarded by their creators, deemed to have no further worth. Scattered across the many moons in their new solar system, they gather en masse to worship under alien skies, bathed in the fractured light of moons and suns. Dressed in splendid costumes, they sing and dance along great winding, standing stone pathways; a procession of vibrant colours and chants moving hypnotically towards stone circles raised high to the heavens.
As the solar winds blow across now empty plains, time stands still as chants of ‘Sanctus Saves….’ echoes through the air.
Processed vocals, atmospheric pads, sub bass patterns, strings and old school sci-fi sounds all exquisitely layered to produce an album of intense beauty. The feel is one of ceremonial celebration and ritualistic joy. A ray of shining hope in the lives of a forgotten people.. $13.67

Seetyca - Winter Licht CD (Winter-Light: WIN011)
'Winterlicht' is Seetyca's third full length album to be released on the Winter-Light label.
As the album title indicates the theme is that of the winter's light and comprises of 12 new tracks, combining deep drones and sparse musical pieces to create a vast wintry landscape. The opening track 'cold morning' invokes images of sunlight playing across fields steeped in deep white snow while your cold breath disappears in to the morning air. The title track 'winterlicht' is a slowly evolving darker, deeper 13 minute drone piece. Here the heavy mantle of winter steadily envelopes the listener, drawing the darkness of the nights ever nearer, as the cold winds howl and the ice begins to form, locking the landscape in to a frozen tundra.
The play between light and dark, the subtle use of environmental sounds and carefully chosen instruments, played by a stellar array of Seetyca's friends, is what makes this album truly engaging.. $13.67

Shock Frontier - Tumult CD (Malignant: TumorCD110)
With his dark ambient project Apócrýphos, Robert Kozletsky has shown a proven ability at creating multi-layered and highly detailed soundscapes. Working as a duo alongside Kyle Carney, he takes that skill and applies it to his death industrial alter-ego, Shock Frontier, carving out a sound residing somewhere between the “new wave” of American power electronics (The Vomit Arsonist, Steel Hook Prostheses) and the classic sound of Cold Meat Industry (Deutsch Nepal, Megaptera). “Tumult” is a world enveloped in a perpetual haze of post-apocalyptic soot and radioactive ash, where deadening percussion, reverberating factory drones, samples, and atmospheric washes of hostile electronics churn and whirr into a polluted, endless expanse. The follow up to 2013’s debut Mancuerda Confessions, Tumult is a more intricate, more oppressive, and more finely honed release, and a logical extension of the Shock Frontier sound.
Featuring contributions from Gnawed, Kristoffer Oustad, and Noculture, in 6 panel DVD digipak skillfully designed by Chris Angelucci of NTF Design & Print.. $10.67

Skin Crime - Ghosts I Have Been CD (Hospital Productions: HOS581)
The new album from the supreme atmospheric noise band Skin Crime. Anyone who attended the Hospital Productions 20 Years Festival in NYC and saw Skin Crime perform their first live show in nearly 15 years will understand the deep, masterful balance of tension, texture and dynamism that has been the signature since the early 90s of this cult and collectible project. A defining characteristic is the fact that Skin Crime is a band with multiple members which brings live space and intricacy to a genre otherwise isolated to the confines of stagnation. ‘Ghosts I Have Been’ exhibits the usual mix of concrete sounds with raw electric noise slowly and seamlessly building into crescendo. Unlike the early obsession with various forms of butchery, ‘Ghosts I Have Been’ shows the darker, more austere side of the subject matter of decay, small rural towns, an antique shop with an uncanny selection of dusty old books of stories you might rather not know about. an old library which seems eager to open its doors to readers but reluctant to open them.. $12.99

The first session contains recordings from the years 2015-2016 and these are excellent drone compositions, close to the recordings of "Glaciology". The second session contains compositions from 2011, giving the atmosphere and the character of the early Strom Noir recordings. Raw electronic structures are enriched by the reconstructed acoustic guitars. Both materials provide an excellent insight into the work of Strom Noir.
The album is released in a 3-panel ecopak in a strictly limited edition of 300 copies. The cover is designed by Maciej Mehring based on the concept by Michał Porwet and photos by Praetorian. The album is mastered by Emil Mat'ko. The whole production process is overseen by Michał Porwet. $11.33

STROMSTAD - New Devoted Human CD (Malignant: TumorCD114)
Few names imply mind-bending, forward thinking heavy electronics like Finnish stalwarts STROM.ec, and with every release, they seem to further stretch the boundaries of what can be a pretty rigid genre, and navigate realms never before seen or heard. Similar things can be said of Norwegian atmospheric heavy weight and Malignant staple, Kristoffer Oustad, whose particular strain of dark ambient and post-industrial soundscapes are incredibly dynamic, at times surreal and cinematic, other times more driving and heavy, but all with a recognizable, highly emotive touch. Put the two together, and you get the debut of their collaborative project, STROMSTAD. Spread out over 8 tracks, this is a dizzying exploration of sound and vocal fury, where mechanized pulsations, writhing frequency oscillations, and grinding machine loops meet stretches of drifting darkness and touches of musicality, suggestive of a future that’s dystopic and bleak on one hand, yet highly innovative and revolutionary on the other.
Featuring a guest appearance by Grutle Kjellson from the mighty Enslaved, mastering by Nordvargr, paintings by Jeff Klena and design by Alonso Urbanos.

Sutcliffe Jugend - Nude and Full of Wounds CD (Death Continues: DCRCD011)
From their roots in the most controversial and confrontational alleys of power electronics, Sutcliffe Jugend have grown and reinvented themselves with each new release. It is no exaggeration to say that, after thirty years, they are creating the best work of their career. "Nude And Full Of Wounds" is the latest intriguing episode in their progression. Matthew Soko, whose spoken vocals shape the album (and whose artwork and body form the visuals), gives this perspective on its genesis and his participation: "Nude And Full Of Wounds began as a phrase spoken to me in passing and brought to life as the project evolved with the atmospheric music that was fed to me by Kevin (Tomkins) and Paul (Talyor) . The ocean exists as a constant metaphor and the industrial sounds by industrial legends Sutcliffe Jugend further define and guide the themes present in the spoken work that leave the listener with a sense of isolation".. $12.99

Sutcliffe Jugend & Junko - Sans Palatine Uvula CD (4iB Records: 4iB13)
Sans Palatine Uvula showcases the amalgamation of 2 pioneering artists of their respective genres: Power Electronics and Japanoise, both whom have made their presence significantly felt (through sight and sound) ever since the early 1980s in England and Japan. Sutcliffe Jugend and Junko (from 非常階段/HIJOKAIDAN) are renowned artists in their own right, having been uniquely defined in the experimental noise scene as innovators of sound through their personal style of artistic expression that involves the churning of audio mayhem through guitars, electronics and vocals.
This album sees Sutcliffe Jugend taking a step beyond as they push the envelope of sound progression to greater heights. Junko‘s piercing screams and squeals serve as a canvas for Sutcliffe Jugend to work on and develop it further in their own innovative style. The results demonstrate a very unique reconstruction of the shriek queen’s original vocal outbursts, which see them being reworked and reinvented separately through manipulative treatments of cut-ups, distortions, samplings and introduction of other sonic elements.
This collaborative work between these two unique and respected artists of different genres from East and West encloses the listener with sonic chaos through its ten varied tracks. For some, it may seem like a difficult album to digest at the first listen. However, the tensions that have been separately produced from the harsh elements of voice and sound eventually subside as they resonate with each other, bringing forth a balanced unity of yin and yang.
Best Played Loud!. $12.67

Now 8 years since the last full length for Cyclic Law, Norway’s SVARTSINN returns with a new opus, reaffirming his place as one of the world’s premiere Dark Ambient acts. For this album Jan Roger Pettersen is accompanied on some tracks by fellow Norwegian Amund Ulvestad on Cello, providing new elements to Svartsinn’s distinct ominous drones. The third full-length album ‘Spectrum DCXCIII: Poison Portals’ of Templum N.R. The album is released in a cassette format through our Underworld Editions and will be followed by CD and vinyl releases in due course.
Throbbing analog electronics, slowly swallowing droning textures and sinuous rhythms are accompanied with eternal, eerie melodies - all reeking of the primordial pleasures. The Vomit Arsonist - Meditations On Giving Up Completely CD (Malignant: TumorCD106)
Anyone familiar with The Vomit Arsonist’s past body of work should know to expect a healthy dose of negativity and hopelessness with every release, but never has that been more true than with his 5th full length, Meditations on Giving Up Completely. There is no reinvention of the sound and no veering off course, but rather a narrowing of the sonic palette, condensed into a continual free-fall of complete despair and nihilism. As Andy Grant described it, Meditations is a release about "futility, failure, and no longer being able to find even a shred of worth in humanity". That mindset is perfectly captured and reflected in the stripped down, monolithic nature and sheer dense weight of the 7 tracks here, where distant furnace blasts and scraping metal abrasions churn amidst toxic fumes and opaque, polluted murk, the vocals roaring through the mix in thick sheets of distorted fury. Those with a fragile mental state may want to steer clear of this one, but for those that find solace with the curtains drawn or at the end of a rope, Meditations on Giving Up Completely is unwavering in its direction and resolute in its approach.. $10.67

Tome of the Unreplenished - Cosmoprism: The Theurgy - Act I LP (Order of Theta: Theta005)
Vinyl issue of Tome of the Unreplenished's latest offering, previously released on CD by I,Voidhanger Records, and featuring esteemed members of Spectral Lore, and Necrosadist.
An exercise in audial dissonance, TotU's 6-track EP seeks to portray in no uncertain terms what some might consider a mind-bending revelation of cosmic proportions. It has been variously described as "a dive into the depths of insanity" (Metal Invader), "raw, primeval, and degenerative"(Metal Recussants)and "terrifying music for terrifying times" (Invisible Oranges), and is an expression of pure disdain and nihilism - blackened noise terror supreme, with smeared textures and ritualistic chaos, where any semblance of structure and melody to arise gets swallowed by chthonic howls and writhing masses of inharmonious atmospheres. Highly recommended fans of Gnaw Their Tongues, Black Earth, and the like.
Comes on black 12"/33RPM vinyl with fold-out covers bearingtheexceptional artwork of Alex Dictator featured on the original CDversion by I, Voidhanger.. $12.00

Totenrune/Insurgence - Split CS (Lost Empire Records: LER-02)
From Noise Receptor Journal:
"Following quickly on the heels of the split with Streicher, Totenrune has returned with another split, but this time with the noise/ industrial project Insurgence, and with the tape being issued on a new French based label.
For Totenrune’s 3 tracks it lead off with a murder confessional sample on ‘Libertine Atonement’ before the raw mass of distorted rumble and heavily treated vocals which provides a rough power electronics slant to the industrial-noise approach, although is also quite laid back in actual sonic agression. Being slightly more tonally forceful, ‘Rapture in Homicide’ then features spitting distortion and loose sense of structure and forward momentum (…although still relatively calm), while the final track ‘Mors Triumphalis’ is built around a prominent grinding loop and looser underpinning echo and rumble (…again being relatively laid back than what might be typically expected). As a general observation when comparing Totenrune’s tracks here to their earlier material on the Streicher split, the mood is more subdued and comes across as being more controlled and considered as a result.
In moving on to Insurgence’s contributions, although not having heard them before I am aware they have been compared to Deathkey, which is a somewhat valid comparison despite not achieving the same over the top fierceness. Regardless of this, the first of 2 Insurgence tracks is ‘Lost Innocence’ and demonstrates a step up in sonic intensity from Totenrune’s contributions. The first segment of the track is based on a prominent ‘stones in a cement mixer’ styled loop (…coupled with samples, static and raw junk metal), before the second segment takes a further step up with blunt-force, churning noise and unhinged vocals (…all force-fed through a feedback grinder and treated with a heavy dose of echo and reverb). The second Insurgence track ‘Shine’ heavily deviates where it commences on ritual industrial routes with chanted vocalisations and cavernous catacomal ambience, before moving back towards to a brutal and chaotic and junk metal noise sound (…complete with shuddering/ burrowing structures and unhinged/ overblown vocals before coming to an abrupt conclusion).. $7.67

Trepaneringsritualen - Kainskult LP (Blood Red Vinyl Edition) (Tesco: Tesco119BRLP)
Kainskult keeps all the basic building blocks of Perfection & Permanence: the tribal drumming, the atavistic propulsion, the clattering metal percussion, and the abysmal growls. But somehow it reaches a new level of intensity, both sonically and lyrically. The latter read like a hallucinatory celebration of Kain, the Original Heresiarch. He is cast in the role of archetypal transgressor; the brother to all who wage war against the tyranny of Yaldabaoth. He raises the stone above His head, and with one willful strike slays His brother, the cowering slave. Through this one action He draws the Mark upon his skin, and sets in motion a series of events that will ultimately lead to the dissolution of the created worlds. Lmtd 500 on blood red vinyl. $23.99

United Front - By All Means II (The Fall of Church and State) CD (Malignant: TumorCD121)
Previously known as U-731, Gordon Lazarus’ project returns to the Malignant roster, now as a duo and rebranded as United Front. The same incendiary and antagonistic principles apply as before, only heightened and intensified with By All Means II (The Fall of Church and State), which burns with fervency and scalding anger, painting a picture of a country rife with corruption and spiraling towards war and strife. Even as it’s primarily centered around US policy, this has a more distinctly European feel than before, channeling mid-late 90’s German acts with its singular frequency throbs, samples, hostile vocals, and ominously atmospheric washes of toxic electronics. Released as a joint experience between Oppressive Resistance Recordings and Malignant, By All Means II is a dire proclamation and should serve as a wake up call to those previously content to sit by the wayside. Four "Drones" on one record! Volume Five features:
GYDJA: (New Zealand) Enchanting female drone esoterica by an artist who is also known through her stunning artworks for COLD SPRING and other labels. Through magnetic winds and metallic clouds the long track "Gjallarbru" creates a wonderful secretful and sensitive atmosphere; very lonely and frosty, like a cold and clear consciousness released on a high mountain, on top of the world...
CLADE, (Scotland / USA) Named after a notion taken from biology science (=Monophylum), this duo is based in Scotland and USA, alluring with very focused minimal drones on so far four releases. The two tracks presented here stand out with their use of somehow refractional, fibrous sounds, placed on monotonus drones with a very sedative and insistent effect...
MONOCUBE: (Ukraine) This "ethereal drone" discovery from Ukraine moves musically through endless spaces, creating choral-like aural clouds and strange melodies => self-supporting drones with an incredible width, when even the smallest particles of concrete microsound encountering are exciting, entering into a heavenly "song of the sirens" choir..
YRSEL : (France) Another bi-national project is this French-Swedish collaboration of JULIEN LOUVET (2:13 PM, etc.) and C-J LARSGÅRDEN (ONDO),who released three albums so far. Their track "Krstnhmnbrtncrt" consists of very heavy, swallowing drones with atonal elements coming to the surface, diffus and poisonous but also lulling you into a deep (dead) sleep., slowly drowning in dense humming waves of cryptic drones...

VelgeNaturlig - Opalescent Pust CD (Winter-Light: WIN008)
VelgeNaturlig is no stranger to Winter-Light, having appeared on the recent DCD compilation "...That First Season", with his beautiful track 'Golden'. 'Opalescent Pust' has an entirely different feeling altogether, one of constant motion, one of change. 'Opalescent Pust'; the breath opal, the colour of pearl, the purest form of breath. A cleansing process, that of a purifying experience. Purity.
From the opening moments of the first track 'Onset', you know you are entering a world that is both familiar to you, but also somewhat alien at the same time. It's an inward journey that you have begun; a travel within yourself that you should feel comfortable with as it's you. But the dark tones and underlying menace of the music let you know that, in no uncertain terms, before you can reach that light, that purity, you must first traverse the dark paths of your own mind and wrestle with whatever it is you find lurking there. And so the tone is set.
Tracks such as 'Opal' push you further into the blackness where, lying there in state, you can hear the electrical impulses of your own thoughts, embellished through 'Amorphous Silence'. 'Diffraction','Gold Opacity' and 'Pust' will leave you floating and submerged in your own flotation tank. Drifting into nothingness, a time to shed and let go. 'Obsidiana', 'The Hum' and 'Plateau' push you upwards and on towards a ceiling of light, crashing first through barriers of your own constricting thoughts and feelings where finally...with 'Exhale', you can at last breath; the purest breath.
The album began life as a one take improvisational piece, which was then fine tuned in the studio by Ivo Santos (aka VelgeNaturlig), resulting in the fluid, organic wave of sound that you now hear. This full CD of new and original music comprises of 10 tracks of experimental drone and ambient soundscapes.

Wet Nurse./Ten Thousand Miles of Arteries - Split CD (Malignant: TumorCD108)
Split release featuring the damaged, heavy electronics of Canada’s Wet Nurse. teamed up with the obsidian atmospherics of Idaho’s Ten Thousand Miles of Arteries, two acts who take different approaches but are bound by sharing a similar proclivity for making polluted and deranged soundscapes.
Wet Nurse opens things up with “Vow of Sickness (A Prayer), a barrage of jammed frequencies and lurching, corrosive synth waves with a fearsome and highly agonizing vocal presence that sets the tone for the proceeding two tracks. For fans of IRM, early Haus Arafna, and STROM.ec, Wet Nurse. create a disorienting, visceral sound that melds structure with chaos, and ripples with angst, tension and intensity.
Ten Thousand Miles of Arteries follows with 4 tracks of soul blackening, brooding arrangements, teeming with malevolent, noir-ish ambience and corrosive drones, sprinkled with darkened melodies and structure, and propelled forth by percussion and vocals that cut through a haze of reverb and distortion. It’s a deftly crafted, emotionally harrowing and bleak listen, ever so vaguely reminiscent of early Navicon Torture Technologies even while coming off as wholly unique.
